Kim Kardashian Parks Her Brand New Cybertruck Next to Her $150 Million Private Jet

In more recent years, Kim Kardashian also established herself as a trendsetter, both in fashion and accessories. Some call her a car collector, but like the rest of the Kardashian-Jenner family, she's more of a hoarder of the fancy kind in that vehicles hold value for her as accessories and not collectibles.

Still, Kim has put together a stunning fleet of custom rides, estimated at well over $3 billion. Every car is painted her favorite shade of gray, which car customizer Platinum Motorsports created especially for her, called "ghost gray." It's a muted, sleek gray that matches the exterior and interior of her Calabasas mansion because Kim is all about color-coordination these days.

Another "accessory" that fits the all-gray theme is Kim's private jet, which she calls Kim Air. It's a $150 million fully-custom Gulfstream G650ER that Kim bought in 2021 and then waited a full year to personalize. She uses it whenever she has to travel for business or pleasure, even over short distances, as environmentalists were shocked to find out last year.

Last weekend, Kim revealed that she has one car that doesn't fit the theme and, because of its very unique build, might never do: a Tesla Cybertruck. Kim posted on her Instagram Stories photos of a brand new Cybertruck, sitting parked next to her private jet, with the obvious intention of showing off her new ride while pretending she's not. The story went up as she was on her way to Las Vegas for the Super Bowl, so the Cybertruck was her ride in L.A., from where she boarded the flight.

The Cybertruck has a stainless steel body that is offered paint-free out of the factory, with Tesla CEO Elon Musk saying the choice was down to the durability and scratch-resistant quality of the material. In other words, when you buy a Cybertruck, you can't opt for colors, though you can wrap it in whichever shade or pattern you like at a later hour.

Kim probably won't because she doesn't do wraps. In keeping with her image as a trendsetter, she doesn't do anything halfway, and that includes the very particular shade of gray for her cars.

Her fleet, which includes a Lamborghini Urus, a Rolls-Royce Ghost, and a Mercedes-Maybach S 580, is painted "ghost gray," not wrapped. Just the paintjobs alone on these three cars reportedly cost over $100,000, but what's a few bucks more to a billionaire?

So Kim's new Cybertruck probably sticks out like a sore thumb in her garage because of its color. Still, it fits her edgy aesthetic and works for her image as a trendsetter. It also pairs quite nicely with the private jet and doubles as a status symbol, just like it was intended to.
