Ferrari is currently doing great thanks to its classic blend of luxury and high performance, but it has also subtly embraced the latest technologies of our time.
For example, its SF90 series has rocked the perception of hypercars with a great plug-in hybrid powertrain, and now its Ferrari 296 GTB and GTS also show that ultra-performance can be achieved even with a small V6 when electrification is at play. Traditionalists still have V12 models available, and now families can enjoy the Prancing Horse lifestyle because the company is a competitor in the realm of ultra-luxury super-SUVs, with the V12-powered and coach-door-equipped Purosangue crossover SUV. The Cullinan from Rolls-Royce may have finally met its match, right?

But what comes next for the Italian company? Well, some believe that full electrification is inevitable and that the sounds of the high-revving V6, V8, and V12 engines will be replaced with speakers as these zero-emissions powertrains are way too silent to make them enticing. However, it's going to be an uphill battle to conquer a spot because there's already an established order across the EV sector.

For example, mass-market production brands are ruled by Tesla and its close-following rivals like Lucid with 1,020-hp Tesla Model S Plaid or 1,234-horsepower Lucid Air Sapphire sedans. Meanwhile, the exotic sector has the Rimac Nevera at its forefront, and since this is the second generation of the company's hypercar project, it's already up to an incredible level of performance.

So, what could Ferrari do to innovate in the field and still attract the tifosi? If you ask the imaginative realm of digital car content creators, they could blend the past with the future and revive the beloved Ferrari Testarossa nameplate from the mid-1980s to the mid-1990s with a fully electric supercar variant. At least that's the opinion of Brian Kim, the digital creator behind the briankimworks_korea account on social media.

Interestingly, he went to great lengths when he created the zero-emissions successor of the beloved Testarossa because the pixel master wasn't satisfied with a cool rendering in crimson attire and a CGI video. Nope, not at all. Instead, he enlisted the help of fellow CGI expert Kihyeon Kim (aka prx.works on social media) for the 3D modeling and animation duties. But that was only the first leg of the creation process. Next, he took the unofficial rendering to the next level and commissioned a 3D-printed scale model mockup to make the whole design project slightly closer to reality!

Hopefully, after this author goes through all this trouble to show Ferrari that a lot of folks still love the old-school Testarossa in a fresh, new-age environment, the company will decide to do something about it. After all, he's just the latest in a long line of imaginative digital creators who keep envisioning the revival of the Ferrari Testarossa.
