When you're a passionate collector of anything, be it stamps, jewelry, or cars, it must be hard to pick a favorite. But "hard" is not "impossible" where rocker Travis Barker is concerned.
Travis Barker is a well-known car guy with a soft spot for classics and '80s American muscle. He also loves collecting BMX bikes and motorcycles and occasionally indulges in more… contemporary automotive treats like a Cullinan. But make no mistake, his heart beats to the sound of American muscle cars.

Based on his older interviews and whatever glimpses of his A-list life he shares with fans on social media, we know that Barker's car collection is an impressive one, with a total estimated price tag of over $1 million. It includes a ‘65 Cadillac DeVille Convertible, a Chevrolet K5 Blazer, a limited-edition Mercedes-Benz G550 4x4², and a 1987 Buick GNX.

All of these have plenty of custom work done to suit his preferences and aesthetics, and all are nice collectibles on their own. But only one holds a very, very special place in Travis' heart.

That would be the GNX, which he got as a birthday present from his now-wife Kourtney Kardashian in 2021, and that carries a reported price tag of $205,000 before whatever – if any – work Travis had done on it. He's spoken about it and shown it off before, so it should come as no surprise that it's his favorite ride out of all.

He's also talking to John Cena about it. The wrestler-turned-actor is the host of a unique talk show produced by Roku called What Drives You. It's not technically a car show, in that the focus won't be entirely on celebrities' vehicles, but a talk show, where celebrity guests will tell Cena what makes their cars special to them.

“The car you drive and where you drive it can say a lot about who you are, from your personality type to what you value and prioritize the most,” Cena said last year when the new talk show was announced.

For Travis, that special car is the Buick GNX, a very special and limited-edition American muscle car made even more so by the fact that it was given to him by his "dream girl."

Paparazzi captured the duo, Barker and Cena, outside the former's home, where the GNX was on display as they chatted while cameras rolled. One media outlet notes that the two went inside afterward, no doubt so Barker could give Cena his reasoning for picking the car as his favorite.

Barker's 1987 Buick Grand National Experimental is one of the 547 made for the model-year and boasts impressive performance. Featuring work by Linamar Corporation’s McLaren Performance Technologies and ASC (American Specialty Cars), the GNX was rated on release at 276 hp (206 kW) at 4,400 rpm and 360 lb-ft (488 Nm) of torque available at 3,000 rpm, but urban legends say the numbers were understated.
