Rap VIP Rick Ross finally got his own Tesla Cybertruck. All celebrities do it, so there was no way he would just sit and watch everyone else having fun with it. He even ditched his fear of being taken by the car with full self-driving capabilities wherever the government wants, as he said back in January 2023.
Justin Bieber, Lady Gaga, Kim Kardashian, Jay-Z and Beyonce, Pharrell Williams, and Serena Williams. Everybody who's an A-liter and a car person got one. So, there was no way that Rick Ross could have sat this one out. He went on and ordered one.

It is the rapper's second EV after he got himself the Rolls-Royce Spectre. About a year ago, Rick Ross explained in an Instagram story why he had never driven a Tesla before and did not seem willing to change that any time soon.

"I've always had in the back of my mind that the government can tap into the brain of the car," was the jaw-dropping explanation that he came up with in January 2023. He went on saying that the cars that have full self-driving capabilities can take you wherever the government would want them to.

Well, things must have changed along the way. The government probably gave up tapping into the brain of the car and abducting people with Teslas, and the idea of buying a Cybertruck started to grow on Rick Ross. So, he got himself one just like everybody who is anybody is doing right now. That eletric truck with full self-driving capabilities will probably take him where he wants, with no involvement from Washington, DC whatsoever.

He still has to figure out how an EV works. In a video uploaded to social media, he asked his 20 million followers if the Cybertruck had a motor because he intends to transfer one like that into a Chevy Caprice. What he got is most likely the dual-motor Tesla Cybertruck Foundation Series. Hopefully, we won't get to see Rick Ross extract one of the two.

Now he says that the Cybertruck is like a little puppy. He just presses a button and the car comes to him as if he would whistle to a dog. His brand-new Tesla Cybertruck has been delivered with a little delay because of the recall that targeted the accelerator issue. When it arrived, he parked it in the driveway of his mansion, some 30 minutes outside Atlanta, Georgia. He calls the place "The Promise Land."

Sitting on 45,000 square feet, the property belonging to the rapper and record executive Rick Ross is the largest in Georgia and one of the largest in the United States. With a net worth of $150 million, he doesn't call himself RichForever on social media for nothing. So he definitely needs cars not only to drive them across the country but also around his property.

Now, he's got the Cybertruck for that task, too. He celebrated the moment with cheeseburgers, French fries, and champagne. His pickup truck is stock for the moment. But knowing Rick Ross, that won't last for too long.

He also owns a Mercedes-Benz Maybach S-Class W223, a few Rolls-Royces several BMWs, Lamborghinis and Ferraris, but also several classics such as a Mercury Monterey and he-probably-forgot-how-many Chevy Impalas.

He also bought a private jet sometime last year. It is 2012 Gulfstream G 550 powered by twin Rolls-Royce engines. It features a custom paintjob by Duncan Aviation and sports the "Rick Ro$$" lettering in rose gold and capital letters on both sides. Because you can't be somebody unless you have a gazillion cars, a private jet, and one of America's largest mansions.

All the cars that Ross owns come together in a collection with over 200 pieces and still counting, which is quite extraordinary for someone who got his driver's license at 45, which was three years ago.

Now he is getting ready for his third car show, which is set to start on June 1.
