It first looks like a leopard print. But when you take a closer look at it, it looks more like a Tetris print. Or a military camouflage. Or a little bit of all of them and more. This is the tailor-made Ferrari Purosangue, which reportedly belongs to the brother of Ferrari's chairman.
The car was spotted in Portugal, and it instantly drew attention like a magnet. It is not every day that you get to see a Ferrari not-an-SUV Purosangue, especially since only a few of them have already been delivered.

Besides, it will stay a rare sight, because the production is capped at between 2,000 and 3,000 units. Furthermore, back in November 2022, Ferrari announced that the model was already sold out for two years.

But, well, it can’t be that hard to get a Ferrari when you know the chairman of the supercar maker. The car reportedly belongs to the brother of Ferrari's Chairman, John Elkann. That is Italian businessman Lapo Elkann. The 45-year old is known to have a soft spot for car customization carried out in some bizarre manner most of the time.

The car sports a print that is difficult to define. It is something between a military camouflage, Tetris print, leopard print, and Minecraft theme, in several shades of beige and brown. And that color combo is everywhere. On the body, but also on board the model, with leather displaying such eccentric print covering the seats, the center console, and the steering wheel.

The Ferrari lettering and Prancing Horse logo are in a deep shade of brown, while the five-spoke alloy wheels are in a different brown tone, sporting beige brake calipers and gold-finished lug nuts. There is a heart representation on the fenders, also in brown.

Ferrari imposes certain restrictions on owners on customizing the brand's models and even takes legal actions against those who go overboard with a type of personalization that might be considered harmful for the image and reputation of the company. Yet something tells us that it is not going to happen to Lapo Elkann, thanks to his family ties. If Enzo could only see this now!

Photos of the strangely specced Ferrari Purosangue were taken in Portugal and uploaded on Instagram by Joao Costa on his Supercarrosemportugal profile page.

The not-an-SUV Ferrari Purosangue is powered by a naturally aspirated 6.5-liter V12 that delivers 715 horsepower (725 PS) and 528 lb-ft (716 Nm) of torque, all steered to all four corners through an eight-speed automatic transmission with sequential mode. It takes 3.4 seconds to run from 0 to 100 kph (0-62 mph) and hits a top speed of 193 mph (310 kph). Even when it wears the insane military camouflage, Tetris print, leopard print, Minecraft theme, or whatever it is they call it.
