The C8 Corvette is one of the most aggressive American cars of all time, and its lines deserve to be taken to the next level with a widebody kit. So far, there's no definitive package that everybody likes, but the one from StreetHunter seems promising.
YouTuber TJ Hunt is already known for his extreme vlogs and builds. After the Supra came out, he began developing his own accessory sets, and the C8 Corvette is still in the works. The parts were first 3D-printed and tested on his own car.

But now, a second test fit is happening. The flares have been to the body shop and came out looking shiny, ready to go on another Corvette, a red one belonging to a friend of TJ's. They extend the bodywork quite a bit, while the chin spoiler is an immediate attention-grabber.

You have to remember the parts are made from plastic, thick and stiff. After the test fitting, the team will mold the real fiberglass parts. Besides testing the fit, the StreetHunter team must also decide on the length of the rear wing. The full price hasn't been released, but a full kit from the same company costs $7,000 in the case of the Supra.

Yes, the Corvette is getting one of those giant race car wings, despite coming with a normal-sized one right out of the box. If they go too wide with the aero, it starts to look tacky. The way we see it, the C8 is turning into the machine that gets people back into buying and working on sports cars.

Many folks want to mess around with the setup - engine, suspension, aesthetics, and features. Along the way, gaskets will be blown and warranties will be voided, but that's all part of the sports car lifestyle. TJ's 1.8 million subscribers can attest to the problems he's had with the twin-turbo setup.
