Remember when EA announced the successor to Real Racing 3 in 2021? Well, we haven't heard much about it since, but the current 10-year-old iteration is still running strong with monthly updates. The latest update will hit your mobile phone on July 17 with a couple of cool new cars.
If you're into running fast laps with all-electric power, Update 11.5 adds the wild Porsche Mission R. The race-spec EV that stunned the IAA show in 2021 will be part of the game's motorsport section and will cost M$2.5 million. But you don't necessarily have to spend that much virtual dough to earn it. You can do so by finishing the Porsche Mission R Limited Series, which begins as soon as you install the update on July 17.

You will have to pay for a few upgrades to be able to complete it, but you'll also get 90 gold, M$150,000, and 5,250VP in addition to the car. Once you park it in your virtual garage, you can drive it some more in the Porsche Mission R Cup.

If electric cars aren't your thing, the update welcomes the very first Morgan into the game. I'm talking about the Plus Six, which the British company launched in 2019 as a replacement for the Plus 8. I'm definitely glad to see a Morgan finally available in a game that already includes the Caterham 620R and the Lotus 3-Eleven.

The Plus Six will cost 300 gold, but you can earn it for less by completing a seven-day Limited Series event. You'll have to spend on updates to be able to finish it, but you'll get some back through 20 gold, R$60,000, and 5,250VP. The Plus Six will get its own series called Old Soul.

Moving to new Time Trial Competitions, you can rank high and score gold with the recently added Lotus Emira. The competition will take place at Silverstone. The other new time trial is a Bugatti Chiron Sport vs. Koenigsegg Regera duel at Melbourne.

As usual, the update will include a couple of Limited Series events that will allow you to earn cars you missed in the past. One is for the latest BMW M4, which will come with bonuses such as 40 gold and R$90,000. The second one is for the mighty Ferrari LaFerrari. This series will also bring you 130 gold and R$350,000. Both challenges last for seven days.

But these aren't the only existing vehicles you can get if you haven't earned them in the past. The update includes Flashback Events for the Koenigsegg Jesko and the Cadillac CT5-V Blackwing. The former starts on July 25, while the latter begins on August 13.

Finally, the Radical SR10 XXR and the Porsche 909 Bergspyder will join the ranks of vehicles that get Exclusive Series. You'll need to update them to the max to gain entry and have a shot at the virtual gold and $ prizes. Find out more about update 11.5 in the video below.
