Any Mopar fan knows the feeling... you navigate through the generous Dodge Charger/Challenger lineup and while the sheer sight of a 5.7L puts a smile on your face, that even more gym-friendly 6.4L motor and its blown 6.2L big bro seem like they wink at you. But what if the first is all the HEMI you need for an awesome build? The four-door recipient we have here tries to answer that question.
Sure, Dodge now offers the Charger with a widebody, but this can't be mixed with the 5.7. Well, the owner of this super-sedan decided to install a custom widebody kit and, as it usually happens with such hardware, the flared fenders we have here make the factory ones appear a bit shy.
Of course, the appearance of the machine has also been transformed by its new stance. As such, the air suspension now allows the four-door to sit extremely close to the road, especially when it's time for photos. Then we have the wheels, which come in massive 22-inch form, featuring a satin gunmetal finish with a carbon look for the lips.
Speaking of the carbon look, you'll also find this on the upper side of the machine. Oh, and let's not overlook the generously-sized wickerbill and the diffuser-like element sitting in between the tailpipes.
Speaking of which, those exhaust tips are now connected to a HEMI that's been supercharged, with the 5.7-liter unit delivering 370 rear wheel horsepower (that's around 435 ponies at the crank, which the factory eight-speed automatic can take just fine).
The cabin has also been gifted with carbon touches, as you'll be able to notice in one of the Instagram posts below, with this also accommodating a pair of custom front seats.
So yes, we could say we're dealing with a complete recipe for daily driving happiness here.
