Are we in 2023 or 2021 all over again when the first examples of Ram's 1500 TRX were tested in the field by jumping the distance and sometimes crashing spectacularly? Well, they upgraded to 6x6, so they can say it's a 'brand-new' truck!
The Internet has become so avid for stunts that everyone is trying to reach the next level. As such, maybe a pickup truck jumping over a car is yesterday's news. We have seen many vehicles fly over other vehicles, and we have also seen them fail spectacularly. But this is different.
So, YouTubers established a trend when the Ram 1500 TRX first came out on the market – jumping it all over the place, including makeshift ramps. Then the guys over at the Triple F Collection came out with something even better – the Apocalypse Manufacturing Warlord! That's a $220k 6x6 transformation that keeps the Hellcat engine of the Ram TRX but also upgrades performance to 850 screaming ponies.
About a year ago, when Apocalypse Manufacturing was feeling pretty darn proud of their bespoke Ram TRX Warlord 6x6 built especially for the cool guys over at The Triple F Collection, the latter embarked on all the usual shenanigans – grass drifts, eleven-feet jumps, the whole lot. However, their joy ended prematurely, as they crashed it soon enough.
Of course, what's the point of owning a unique Ram TRX Warlord 6x6 if you can't play with it – so a few repair bills later, the pickup truck was again in working order and ready for the meeting with Tiff Needell and Paul Woodman, the stars of the Love Cars: On the Road TV series. Back in 2022, when the latter came to visit the collection, they also had some time on the farm with a Tesla Model S Plaid and the Ram TRX 6x6.
Now, if you want to see Tiff Needell run for his life along with one of the Triple F Collection guys while the other and Paul Woodman alternatively jump the massive 6x6 pickup truck over the Tesla Model S Plaid, then this is the right venue. If you think the Internet has moved on to other (potentially stupid) challenges, this video is probably a year too late on the never-ending stream of social media happenings. Either way, it's still fun to see the behemoth jump over a CanAm and Tesla Model S Plaid – and not fail!
Alternatively, you could always rewatch their monumental 'world's first' fastest drag race between that blue-wrapped Tesla Model S Plaid, a Bugatti Chiron Super Sport, and the bonkers Rimac Nevera. Say what you will; that one never gets old, frankly! As for what could be better than all that – maybe a ride-along in the orange-and-black 1,200-hp Bugatti Veyron Vitesse could do the trick! Oh wait, that's also included in the episode!
