Ten days after the crash that Michael B. Jordan was involved in, a dashcam video might totally change the course of the investigation. The film shows how the actor's Ferrari slammed into a parked SUV while reportedly street-racing another Ferrari in Hollywood.
The dashcam footage shows the blue Ferrari 812 Superfast belonging to the 'Creed' star driving alongside another Ferrari, a red 488, seconds before the crash that took place earlier this month. The video uploaded on YouTube has no sound, so we can’t tell for sure if the drivers are revving the engines or driving at a normal speed.

A few seconds into the video, the tail of the 812 Superfast snapps loose, bouncing from right to left. The brake suddenly lights light up, which indicates that the driver must have panicked and gone hard on the brakes, hoping to somehow stop the car.

But that is the moment the Ferrari totally loses it and slams hard into the rear end of a Kia Niro crossover, parked on the driver's right side. The crash took place on December 4, around 11:30 PM, on Sunset Boulevard in Hollywood, LA.

An investigation is underway. There was no obvious reason for the crash, with Michael B. Jordan not being under the influence on the night of the accident. The video that has recently emerged is surely going to help police decide who is to blame in this case.

The driver of the other Ferrari was nowhere to be found. But street racing – if it was that – is illegal in California as well, so both the actor and his race companion are going to suffer the consequences of their reckless behavior if the police decide that they were racing each other. The video shows that the boulevard was quite busy at the time of the crash, with cars driving in both directions.

Nobody was injured in the crash, but both the Kia and the Ferrari sustained serious damage. Pieces of the supercar and of the crossover were splattered all over the road. The hood, right front fender, and the passenger door are badly crumpled, while the right front wheel was separated from the supercar. Luckily, there were no other vehicles involved.

Big Ferrari enthusiast, the Big Panther actor had participated in an official Corso Pilota program earlier this year, driving a Ferrari GTB. He must have skipped the 'don't take it to the road' part of the course.

If it wasn't for the video that emerged online, the authorities might have let the 36-year old walk away with just a fine as it first seemed a simple case of distracted driving. But now he might have some explaining to do after he did not provide any info about what had happened on the night of the crash.

The Ferrari 812 Superfast is not a car for anyone out there with a driver’s license. It is powered by the almighty 6.5-liter V12, linked to a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission. That power plant churns out 789 horsepower (800 PS) and 530 lb-ft (718 Nm).

Those are enough for a run from 0 to 62 mph (0 to 100 kph) in 2.9 seconds, from 0 to 124 mph (0 to 200 kph) in 7.9 seconds, and a top speed of 211 mph (340 kph). And those might sometimes get the one behind the wheel into trouble.
