Aftermarket shops have been flirting with the Genesis models. Some tried to make them look more aggressive, while others went for a more rugged appearance. Now, here comes the Genesis GV70 Snow Edition.
The new variant made its public debut at the White Turf event in Saint Moritz, in the Swiss Alps, during the luxury equestrian event. And it seemed to be just the right set for the vehicle, undoubtedly tagged as a "luxury car."

The Genesis GV70 Snow is, so far, a one-off creation, designed and built by Delta 4x4 to show winter sports enthusiasts a way to enjoy their passion.

The model is painted in white, which virtually plays the part of a camouflage once the car is out in the snow in a white-on-white landscape. The vehicle comes with a pair of custom-made skis offered by the Swiss company Anavon as part of the collaboration with the Korean carmaker.

There is a roof rack that can transport those skis, in the vicinity of a set of 40-inch LED bars supplied by Vision X. Four Baja Design Fog Lights were mounted on the front bumper for additional lighting in the off-road.

The car rides on 18-inch Klassik B Rugged wheels finished in black, with BF Goodrich KO2 tires, 265/60R18 in size on both axles. With the beefy tires and a suspension lift kit, the Genesis GV70 received an enhanced ground clearance compared to the 7-inch (174-millimeter) one that the vehicle rolls off the production line with. Delta 4x4 also extended the fenders to enhance the stance of the model with daring looks.

Genesis and Delta 4x4 did not mention any modification on the engine. That means that the GV70 is still powered by the 3.5-liter turbocharged petrol engine in its stock form, generating 375 horsepower (380 metric horsepower) and 391 pound-feet (530 Newton meters) of torque. They go to all four corners through an eight-speed automatic transmission.

Customers have yet to see if the body kit will be available as an extra on the already existing cars or if the GV70 will remain a one-off that Genesis will only brag about at special events.

The looks of the GV Snow edition are similar to those of the GV70 Camping Gear Black Edition that the carmaker unveiled back in October. The model also featured several camping accessories, such as a retractable rooftop tent from iKemper, which takes a single minute to unfold or fold back. Black chairs and a matching table are also included in the package.

For the European market, Delta 4x4 developed the GV70 Project Overland, which was on display last December at the Essen Motor Show in Germany. It was the concept car that marked the 40th anniversary of the off-road specialist.
