Do you remember that gorgeous 1967 Chevrolet Corvette we covered about a month ago? Of course, you do, especially if you're into these sorts of rides, as it's hard to forget it. And if you said yes, then you may want to keep reading, as it is now cheaper – like way cheaper.
Well, cheap may be too be a word to use here, as less expensive would suit it better. As you probably remember, this marvelous machine used to be listed for $649,900. A recent update to the ad, which we'll get to in a few moments, reveals that the vendor has slashed $100,000 from the asking price. Thus, it now costs $549,900 to make it yours.

But what exactly makes it this special? Well, for one, it is a brand-new vehicle despite being born 57 years ago, as the odometer points only 13 miles or 21 kilometers. It boasts a gorgeous red finish with the typical chrome accents providing more shine to it. It rides on fresh wheels that are on the large side of things in order to accommodate the modern braking system and comes with side-mounted exhaust tips.

According to the listing, this 1967 Chevrolet Corvette has a tubular chassis and a monstrous engine under that sexy hood. The lump is a 427 ci V8, which is said to steam out 570 horsepower. The crate engine delivers the output to the wheels through a Tremec six-speed manual transmission, so it is one engaging machine that might dare to take a swing at some modern rides that are on the fast side of things.

The attention to detail is breathtaking, even on the inside, where black is the dominating hue. It has leather upholstery with red contrast stitching to tie it to the exterior, a three-spoke steering wheel, vintage air conditioning, and a Dakota digital instrument cluster, which helps it "combine modern technology with the classic aesthetic."

Due to the extra work that went into it, often with a modern twist, like the brakes, crate motor, and small screen on the inside, this old-timer certainly qualifies for the restomod nomenclature. It is an absolute gem that deserves nothing but the best and an ultra-pricey one that could make grown men weep. We reckon its next owner is a few mouse clicks away, so it probably won't stay on the used car market much longer.

But if you had over half a million dollars lying around and were searching for an exquisite ride, could this '67 ‘Vette make it to the top of your list, or would you opt for something else? We'll remind you that it stands in the supercar territory price-wise, and we'll end it by telling you that the C8 Corvette Z06 comes from $112,700 and the electrified E-Ray from $104,900.
