Another day, another car with a name that takes a lifetime to spell. This, mind you, is a conservative take on the nomenclature used for these ‘Last Call’ Hellcats, because if you include the words ‘special’ and ‘edition’, you end up with a moniker consisting of 10 words, which is absolutely insane.
Do you know what’s funny? The Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat and its derivatives are so good, it diminishes the value of whatever flagship spec they’re trying to promote. Think about it – how impressed can you really be with say an 807 horsepower Redeye Jailbreak model, when the base-spec SRT Hellcat is good for 717 horsepower of its own.

They even look more or less the same – your “entry-level” Widebody Hellcat looks pretty much identical to any of the flagship variants. They accomplished this by making the flared fenders available on lesser specs. You can even get the Widebody package on the R/T Scat Pack model, which at $55,260 looks nearly identical to the $91,300 Super Stock.

Anyway, we’re here to talk about a very specific Widebody Hellcat in this 2023 Jailbreak Last Call special edition Challenger, up for grabs to the highest bidder.

It’s finished in Plum Crazy, featuring satin black front and rear spoilers, Air-Catcher headlights, widebody fenders, dual air scoops for the hood, a chin spoiler guard, rear parking sensors, Black Vapor chrome dual exhaust outlets, and a set of gloss black 20-inch Devil’s Rim wheels, wearing 305/35 Pirelli P Zero all-season tires.

This Challenger also comes with adaptive Bilstein dampers and red-finished six-piston calipers at the front, four-piston Brembos at the rear.

Inside, you get black Houndstooth cloth with embroidered SRT logos for the heated and power-adjustable front seats, a folding rear seat, keyless entry, push-button start, Jailbreak badging, a Uconnect infotainment system, cruise control, dual-zone automatic climate control, and nice chunky leather-wrapped steering wheel that also happens to be heated.

As for what’s happening under the hood, that’s where the supercharged 6.2-liter HEMI V8 power unit resides, with its 717 horsepower and 656 lb-ft of torque, sending everything to the rear wheels via a six-speed manual transmission. There’s also a ‘Last Call’ plaque positioned under the hood, near the driver-side headlight.

Back when it was still owned by Dodge, this car retailed for $78,985, which is a hefty sum, but you’ll likely still have to spend over MSRP if you want to place this baby in your driveway before time runs out (better hurry).

Oh, and the mileage? Don’t even sweat it. The HEMI V8 has only been firing its pistons for 174 miles, making this car even more desirable. I would not be the least bit surprised if this ended up fetching $90,000 or more.
