Ford has been making F-Series trucks for more than 70 years now, and it somehow manages to make these cars better with every single generation. The new 2021 F-150 is now available for purchase, and the company has just displayed another commercial showcasing some of the capabilities of its new truck.
It's downright impossible not to think of the F-150 when considering the idea of purchasing a truck. Ford claims that their new F-150 is "purpose-built from the ground up - redesigned to be toughest, most productive F-150 ever. This is what happens when you merge premium-grade muscle with finely tuned intelligence and design. A beast with brains."

There's a wide range of options available when building your own F-150, as you'll be seeing if you access Ford's online configurator. Starting prices vary between $28,940 for the F-150 XL and $70,825 for the F-150 Limited version. Both two-wheel-drive and four-wheel-drive options are available, based on the selected layout and desired version as well.

There are three different cab versions: Regular, SuperCab and SuperCrew, and also three box sizes, including 5.5 feet (1.67 m), 6.5 feet (1.98 m), and 8 feet (2.43 m) long. We like the selection of engines available as well. A 3.0-liter Turbo Diesel is available as an entry-level option if you're looking at the Platinum configuration, and it provides a healthy 250 horsepower and 440 lb-ft (596 Nm) of torque.

A hybrid option has also been introduced, in the form of a 3.5-liter V6 that runs on the collective power of gas and electric energy. It takes the stakes higher up to 430 horsepower and 570 lb-ft (772 Nm) of torque. A standard version of that engine also exists, albeit with not as much grunt and less eco-friendliness included.

Although performance figures are not as impressive as in the case of the hybrid engine, a V8 option is also available in the form of a 5.0-liter V8 with Auto Start-Stop Technology and Flex-Fuel Capability. Looking over the other options, you can also notice the presence of two other V6 units, a 2.7-liter, and a 3.3-liter.

In fact, you could probably spend a few hours configuring the right F-150 for you, but that's not really a bad thing in itself, as it offers people the chance of customizing their desired truck down to the smallest of details so that it may fit their exact needs. We're guessing this new one might just be a best seller once again.
