In our never-ending search of cool cars looking for new homes, we came across one bad@ss Jeep. It is a Gladiator converted to a six-wheel drive machine that features numerous other enhancements, and there is someone out there who hopes they might pay $500 and make it theirs.
There is no clickbait here, as that really is the case. But we will get back to that part later in this story when we will discuss the finances. For now, let's remind ourselves about this fabulous truck that looks like it could take its occupants to the end of the world and back without complaining too much.

Apocalypse 6x6 is the company behind these significant modifications, and it has other similarly-tuned rides in its lineup. Other models from Jeep, as well as some vehicles from Ford and Ram, can also be found in their portfolio, as well as one futuristic-looking Rivian R1T and even a GMC Hummer EV. Needless to say, most of their creations are on the OTT side visually, but we have always had a soft spot for certain six-wheel drive models that bear their signature, including the Jeep Gladiator.

The obvious highlight of this project is the added rear axle. For this modification, Apocalypse 6x6 had to extend the chassis and the bed of the workhorse. It has reworked fenders for a more menacing look, an impressive ground clearance to go over some considerable obstacles, and a very short front overhang that will also come in handy when the comfort of smooth tarmac ends. The ultra-fat tires wrapped around the new wheels enhance its traction on slippery and sticky surfaces, and should it get stuck, then the front winch will help it free itself.

A custom face was also part of the makeover, together with a bulging hood and a front windscreen surround, complete with an LED light bar at the upper end. A pair of side skirts improve ingress and egress. It has a steel bumper at the rear, smoked taillights, and the Apocalypse name on the tailgate. The bed is no longer open, and the dramatic stance of this six-wheel drive Jeep is further enhanced by the lights mounted in the arches that illuminate the wheels at night like it's the early 2000s and the first Fast and Furious movie just came out.

Care to step foot inside? Well, then you will be greeted by the black and gray leather upholstery stitched together with blue string. Diamond quilting is visible on the seats, and the steering wheel, which otherwise carries over from the stock Jeep Gladiator, has the Apocalypse logo on it. Speaking of things that soldier on, these include the dashboard panel, door cards, center console, and pretty much anything else. Thus, if you thought it hides a very posh interior, then you will be disappointed, as it is no Mercedes-AMG G 63 posing as a six-wheel drive workhorse.

Curious about the engine? That would be a diesel with a 3.0-liter displacement. The turbocharged V6 lump, which normally produces 260 hp (264 ps/194 kW) and 443 lb-ft (600 Nm) of torque. We don't know if it was tuned in any way here, as the ad doesn't reveal anything about the output and thrust, but the stock diesel-powered Gladiator uses an eight-speed automatic transmission and a four-wheel drive system with a two-speed transfer case and a long-range gear ratio.

This white Jeep Gladiator 6x6 is a 2022 model that has 596 miles (959 km) on the clock. As a result, you are looking at a brand-new vehicle that likely still retains some of that new car smell. We are ready to talk about the Benjamins if you are too, and since the answer is likely yes, we will proceed to tell you how much it costs. In order to sign your name on the dotted line, you will have to cough out $140,000, which is the asking price.

We found this beastly truck for sale on eBay here, with three days left in the online auction, which will end on Tuesday, October 24. And about that $500 reference made at the beginning of this story, it was the highest bid at the time of writing. You can bet that no one is going to buy it for less than six digits, as this is a potent beast with one extra axle to make it stand out. The pickup can be found in Miami, Florida, in the possession of a used car dealer, which has other hot rides in its portfolio.

Now, considering that you could buy a new Jeep Gladiator from around $40,000 in the United States or a Mercedes-Benz G 550 from over $140,000. The 6x6 pickup is more affordable than an AMG G 63, which kicks off at $179,000 before destination. So, which one would it be?
