It's One Small Detail That Makes This Lamborghini Huracan STO More Special

The Lamborghini Huracan STO has been visited by the tuning fairy once again, and it hasn't received a ridiculous makeover. You'll probably need a side-by-side comparison with the stock one to spot the differences, as they are very discreet.
The average Joe might be tempted to say that the wide fenders were added post-assembly. They might also believe the front and rear bumpers are new and that the fat side skirts, front hood, roof scoop, and rear wing are also new. But they'd be wrong because the Huracan STO came with these aero upgrades straight from the Sant'Agata Bolognese facility.

These upgrades don't only contribute to that racer-like stance of the Italian supercar, but they also improve the aerodynamics and downforce. The Super Trofeo for the road has 631 horsepower (640 ps/471 kW) produced by its 5.2-liter naturally aspirated V10 at 8,000 rpm and 417 lb-ft (565 Nm) of torque sent to the rear axle via a seven-speed auto 'box with dual-clutch. Lambo says it can go up to 193 mph (310 kph), claiming that the 0-62 mph (0-100 kph) sprint is a three-second affair.

But that still doesn't answer the question of what's new, so here it is: the wheelset. Made by Vorsteiner, the alloys are called the FR-Aero 310, and they kick off from $13,180. The American tuner's website reveals a lead time of between three and eight weeks, and two sizes available for the Huracan: 8.5x20-inch for the front and 12x20- or 12x21-inch for the rear axle. Made in California, the three-piece wheels are available in multiple hues, with different colors for the Vorsteiner-branded center caps, and they can be ordered with a solid face or the optional brushed or polished surfaces that add another $600 to the price tag.

Besides the Lamborghini Huracan, Vorsteiner offers the FR-Aero 310 set for a wide variety of other vehicles, including exotics from Ferrari, McLaren, Porsche, and Audi (R8), as well as high-riders such as the Bentley Bentayga, Lamborghini Urus, and Mercedes G-Class. They're also suitable for the C8 Chevrolet Corvette, multiple BMWs, and several battery-electric cars like the Porsche Taycan, Tesla Model S, and Model Y.

Thus, they're not on the exclusive side of the market, but on a more positive note, they do fit the Huracan like a glove, especially in the two-tone finish as presented on the pictured supercar. It wears a light blue hue on the outside, with white and orange contrasts, and the latter two shades were replicated on the wheels. We can see some black elements, too, on this rear mid-engined and rear-wheel drive Lambo that truly is a dream car. Do you dig the looks? Drop a line below and tell us what you think of this STO.
