We've known for a good while now that Ferrari is preparing a hardcore variant of the SF90 series, and we've seen numerous spy shots of it in both body styles: Coupe and Spider. However, our latest encounter doesn't include any camouflage whatsoever, as the supercar has leaked in all its glory.
Images taken during a private event reportedly hosted in Italy recently were shared online by different social media channels. We found these on sf90lm's Instagram account, and they showcase the track-focused model in two hues and as many configurations.

The red copy is the coupe, and the blue one is the Spider, aka Ferrari slang for roadster, unless they decide to go with the Aperta name instead. And speaking of the name, it has yet to be confirmed, though several outlets call it the SF90 LM, whereas others still refer to it as the SF90 VS or Versione Speciale – Italian for Special Version.

Mansory would probably approve of the design because the Ferrari SF90 LM (name unconfirmed) is one OTT supercar. It has a new front bumper with a more prominent chin spoiler, a different front hood, and vented front and rear fenders. The side skirts are chunkier, and at the rear, they gave it a new lighting signature that stretches across its entire width. An equally large wing joins that massive diffuser and the supercar sits on new wheels that were likely shod in grippier tires.

All jokes aside, these design upgrades were likely necessary to improve downforce and make the model corner better. However, they could have made it more restrained, considering that the average Joe and most owners will not be able to feel the actual difference during the occasional racetrack thrashing. The beefed-up styling is expected to be backed up by serious chassis revisions, a small weight reduction, and perhaps uprated brakes to keep the alleged extra power in check.

We still have no clue how much it produces, but it should be a bit more than the SF90 Stradale, whose turbo'd 4.0-liter V8 and electric motors kick out a combined 1,000 metric horsepower (986 hp/735 kW). It tops out at 211 mph (340 kph) and takes two and a half seconds to hit sixty (97 kph) from zero. The current SF90, which is four years old, also has a zero-emission driving range of 15.5 miles or 25 kilometers.

Production of the SF90 LM should be limited to a handful of copies, and we wouldn't be surprised to learn that all of them were already sold out. The official unveiling is probably a few hours away, and reports indicate it might premiere tomorrow (June 29, 2023), so that's when we should find out everything about it.
