When we thought we'd seen it all, Mansory came out of hiding with yet another controversial project. In this case, it's called the F9XX, and it has got to be one of the ugliest modified Prancing Horses that we have seen.
Heretofore, it was a nice Ferrari SF90 Spider. But Mansory felt the need to fit it with all sorts of bits and pieces with a forged carbon look and to reupholster the interior in a hue that doesn't do justice to the nameplate. They also gave it more power, and that's the only positive thing about it.

First things first, let's take a closer look at the exterior, which has a new front bumper with two side vents and a large intake in the middle, add-ons to the lower parts and the sides, and what appears to be a new front hood. With that large multi-fin diffuser, a spoiler-like piece, and a wing interrupted in the middle, the back end is just as controversial. Mansory also gave it new side skirts, and all things added post-assembly have a forged carbon look.

This applies to the new 9.5x21-inch front and 12x22-inch rear wheels that were wrapped in tires in sizes of 255/30 and 335/25, respectively. The tuner mentions a few tweaks made to the suspension. Their logo has replaced the Prancing Horse emblems at the front and rear and can also be seen on the sides and the alloys mentioned above. As for the overall finish of this SF90 Spider, or what used to be one anyway, it is white, with forged carbon contrasts.

Light blue dominates the cockpit, together with white. The driver's seat was wrapped in light blue leather, the passenger’s seat in white leather, and the new steering wheel has Mansory branding in the middle and a pair of large paddle shifters with the Italian flat motif on them, which was also replicated on other parts. As you can expect, more carbon fiber was added to the cockpit of the Italian supercar.

The plug-in hybrid model comes with 986 hp (1,000 ps/736 kW) in total produced by the three electric motors aiding the turbocharged 4.0-liter V8. The SF90 Spider takes only 2.5 seconds to 62 mph (100 kph) and tops out at 211 mph or 340 kph. Mansory claims theirs has become one-tenth quicker due to the extra 99 hp (100 ps/74 kW). Therefore, it has 1,085 hp (1,100 ps/809 kW) to play with, and the new torque is rated at 723 lb-ft (980 Nm). The top speed is said to have gone up to 221 mph (355 kph). Remember how we said the extra oomph was the only good thing about it? Well, it's not because only three F9XX Spiders will ever be made, so hopefully, you'll never see one in the flesh.
