The petrolhead crowd may be weeping about certain performance models that were dropped over the years. Still, not many enthusiasts are willing to step down from their crossovers and into such a ride, no matter how attractive the asking price is.
The rarer and punchier the model is, the more money it will commence. Factor in the low mileage and proper maintenance, and your budget would have to contain many zeros to afford it. But this story isn't about a blue-blooded unicorn with only the delivery miles under its belt, as it revolves around something tangible: the Subaru WRX STI.

Made in 2020, the rally-prepped machine is part of the previous generation, and while it has seen some action over the years, the odometer still reads a very decent (for such a ride) mileage. It has 23,209 miles (37,351 km) under its belt, and the car looks very good inside and out. The engine compartment and underbody are equally clean, and this ride only needs a new owner to drive it with every chance they get.

This 2020 Subaru WRX STI features a silver paint finish, Y-spoke alloys, and neon green brake calipers. It has privacy windows and some decals that reveal its meaner nature. More on the latter in a few moments, as we also have to tell you about the interior, which combines black and red leather and Alcantara upholstery and a few red touches here and there.

Now, about the firepower, you are looking at a 2.5-liter turbocharged mill – you know, the lump powering the era's STIs that were destined for markets outside Japan. Originally, it was good for a little over 300 horsepower, yet this one has received a lot of work. According to the vendor, it puts 451 horsepower under the driver's right foot, and it runs on E85. The power unit is connected to a manual transmission with six forward gears for engaging drives.

As you probably suspect, no performance model is going to come cheap, especially not one that's still very shiny all around and does not seem to have been punished over the years. Without further ado, you are looking at $57,900 to park this four-year-old Subaru WRX STI in your driveway, which is certainly steep, as it is basically brand-new muscle car territory.

A fresh-off-the-lot 2024 Ford Mustang GT will cost you at least $41,960 before destination and dealer fees or $46,480 if you opt for the better-equipped Premium trim level. The 2024 Subaru WRX has an MSRP of $32,735 for the entry-level version, going up to over $44,000 for the GT. Still, if this WRX STI sounds better, then you will have to click on this link and contact the vendor. So, will you?
