Although we have been through some significant crises – and some of them are not even over as far as the automotive industry is concerned, there's renewed interest from all over the place for the most expensive competition – Formula One.
The Blue Oval company and Honda will return to join existing manufacturers like Ferrari, Mercedes, and Alpine, while Audi is a new entrant altogether. Besides, Ford's comeback to F1 comes right on the heels of its historic rival General Motors' decision to try and enter its Cadillac brand for 2026. And already during the centenary edition of the 24 Hours of Le Mans, we saw Ferrari successfully topple Toyota's five-year-straight reign after no less than 50 years on hiatus. Hey, Cadillac also came back alongside Peugeot and Porsche to try and crash the Japanese automaker's party.

So, no wonder all these carmakers are trying to make the most out of their appearances in the top tiers of motorsport with magnificent halo cars. As far as Formula One is concerned, there's a new niche of F1-inspired cars that also look like they made the rounds of the 24 Hours of Le Man's endurance race – namely, the Mercedes-AMG ONE, developed with input from Lewis Hamilton and the Aston Martin Valkyrie designed by F1's Adrian Newey and co-developed with Red bull Racing, plus to a lesser extent the Gordon Murray Automotive T.50 or the McLaren Solus GT, plus the company's upcoming P1 successor.

But for all intents and purposes, let us speak only about F1-inspired hypercars allowed on the streets, not the ones confined to the tracks of the world. And this is because we need to open a discussion not just in the real world but also across the imaginative realm of digital car content creators, mainly because the good folks over at car.design.trends have focused our attention on this project by artist Francesco Artusato (aka franart_design on social media). The 3D vehicle designer and artist, who previously worked for NASCAR or Land Rover, has now ushered in a personal project called F1X-76 Stradale, which obviously imagines a street-legal Ferrari F1 hypercar.

The nickname is easy to assess – it is most likely inspired by Project 674, the 2022 Formula One racing car designed and manufactured by Scuderia Ferrari with the official code name Ferrari F1-75 for competing in the 2022 Formula One World Championship. The design, on the other hand, is open to interpretation from the public as we are looking at a concept design of a single-seater Prancing Horse that's both vintage and futuristic at the same time. Of course, the reactions from automotive enthusiasts were overwhelmingly positive, both on the car design community and the author's social media page. And we are not in the least bit surprised, frankly!
