At 20.8 kilometers (12.9 miles), the Nurburgring might be the world's longest active racetrack, but sometimes the Green Hell simply isn't big enough. Of course, we love those occasions, as they lead to spicy encounters, with the latest one of the sort involving the 2020 Porsche 911 and the McLaren 600 Longtail.
The two go-fast machines met during a recent Nordschleife testing session and we'll quickly get over the part concerning the British toy.

You see, it's not unusual for automotive producers to continue testing after the official debut of a car, especially when talking about performance models. So the presence of the 600 hp Woking animal on the infamous German track shouldn't surprise you.

As for the Neunelfer, the new 992 model is currently completing its final testing stages, with the machine set to make its debut in the next six months or so.

Keep in mind that we've already shown you the styling of the car thanks to a set of spyshots portraying a mostly uncovered prototype (you'll find these images above). The always-evolutionary design of the 911 receives a retro-futuristic twist for the new generation, as, for instance, the posterior mixes a 959-like wing (albeit an active one) with taillights that might remind one of the Mission E Concept.

Regarding the cabin, the most important update comes from the partially digital dashboard - while the central tacho remains analog, this is flanked by a pair of screens, with the traditional five-instrument layout expected to be maintained.

Zuffenhausen has already confirmed the hybridization of the car, but we're not sure whether we'll get a 4 E-Hybrid, a Turbo S E-Hybrid or both.

And speaking of motivation, we're expecting the GT3 and GT3 RS to maintain their naturally aspirated nature.

P.S.: If you happen to be in a rush, you'll find the prototype encounter mentioned above at the 1:35 point of the video. Nevertheless, the rest of the footage is also worthy of your time, with this being focused on the 992.
