If we are to believe a report that surfaced earlier this week, Ford won’t be offering an SVT Raptor version for the redesigned 2015 F-150 pickup truck. However, that doesn’t mean it’s the end of the Blue Oval-badged high-performance truck.
Ford will continue to deliver 2014 Raptors by the end of the year and the same can be said about Shelby, Hennessey and Roush, who are selling their own versions of the truck. The latter has even developed a custom wrapped variant of the 2014 Roush Raptor, which has 590 horsepower and 590 pound-feet of torque under its hood.
The vehicle shown above and below is awaiting final inspection before being shipped off to the dealership, where it will receive a new set of wheels, as well as some LED lighting upgrades. We do hope they will be able to do the same thing to the next-generation Raptor, but we must confess we’d be more than happy to park one of these 2014 models in our garage.
