When it comes to high-performance pickup trucks, Ford's F-150 SVT Raptor has no rival. Ram's 1500 Rumble Bee concept is far from becoming a production vehicle, while Chevrolet has yet to develop a rival, although they have been "looking into that" since early 2013, before the 2014 Silverado went on sale.
But there's good news for Chevy enthusiasts that have been asking for a Bowtie-badged high-performance truck. It's coming from Southern Comfort Automotive and it's called the "Reaper"!
Set to be unveiled at the NADA Convention Center in New Orleans (January 24-27), the truck was developed with help from Lingenfelter Performance Engineering and Fox Racing, GM Authority reports. Unfortunately, that's all we know right now, and the teaser video uploaded below won't provide any additional info.
However, the fact that the F-150 SVT Raptor will be finally getting a run for its money is enough to fuel our patience for one more week. Stay tuned for official photos and specs.
