The 2014 Holden Cruze has been unveiled in Australia, with only one month left until the GM-owned company will open their order books for the updated sedans and hatchbacks.
Described as the "best ever value" Cruze ever built, the 2014 version of the car is trying to boost sales in Australia with several updates, including new engines and sporty body kits for the SRi and SRi-V, and more standard features for the entry-level model, just to name a few.

Thus, the sport-themed SRi and SRi-V models are equipped with a new turbocharged 1.6-liter four-cylinder powerplant with 179 HP and 170 lb-ft (240 Nm) of torque. On the outside, the range-topping variant gained a new body kit with revised bumpers, side skirts and real spoiler, all destined to give the car an aggressive look.

The mid-level Cruze CDX, available only as a sedan, can be had with a 1.8-liter four-cylinder gasoline engine with 141 HP or a 2.0-liter four-cylinder diesel unit powered by 163 HP. New features include comfort-tuned suspension, reverse camera, keyless entry and 17-inch alloy wheels.

The entry-level CD trim, which is now called Equipe, has the same 1.8-liter gasoline and 2.0-liter diesel engine as the CDX, but it can be ordered with a turbocharged 1.4-liter developing 140 HP as well.

All 2014 Cruze versions will be in Holden dealerships starting next month.
