Just one day after Holden unveiled the 2014 VF Commodore, the Holden Racing Team (HRT) has revealed its 2013 VF Commodore V8 Supercars racer.
This season's V8 Supercars' contender, which was exposed by former series champions Garth Tander and James Courtney, is built to meet the new "Car of the Future" regulations.
According to HRT, the racing VF Commodore sports a 5.0-liter V8 Chevrolet engine under the hood producing 650 hp, which is transferred to the rear wheels, and consequently onto the track, through a sequential gearbox. The Commodore will make its official track debut on February 16, when the first testing session is planned at Sydney Motorsport Park.
Further information is not yet available, but take a good look at this racing beast, because what lies under that livery is the high-performance version of the VF Commodore, the SS V.
Don't know about you, but I find the 2014 VF Commodore to be stunning, and I'm perky enough to say that the SS V will blow me away. Good on ya, Holden!
