autoevolution's EV Month

Enough time has passed since the arrival of the electric vehicle for the masses for all of us to know these things are not going away. Especially now, when the majority of carmakers around the world not only have one or two electric cars in their lineups, but have also pledged to make a complete switch to this type of propulsion in the coming decades.

The road from world's first mass-produced hybrid, the Toyota Prius, to the wealth of pure battery-electric machines currently available was not easy. It’s also far from over, this road, as all the great pieces of wonderful engineering currently moving on it are just the tip of the iceberg.

The topic of EVs is enough in itself to generate tons of discussions. From new car launches to advancements in battery technology, the world is buzzing electric. To such an extent, in fact, that we here at autoevolution decided to focus on that for the coming month.

March is thus dubbed EV Month by our crew of writers, a time to celebrate probably the most profound transformation of the automotive industry since, well, forever.
