Steven Spielberg's original Jurassic Park movie became one of the world's largest franchises ever made. The movies alone (six of them at the time of writing, three in the original series and another three in the World one) brought in over $6 billion over the years, and that's not taking into account related merchandise, theme parks, video games, and all that.
The first Jurassic Park movie was released in 1993, which makes it 30 years old. It brought to the screen, for the first time at such scale, creatures from a world long gone, interacting with us humans in ways few of us thought possible.

Thanks to the flick, many of that time's youngsters developed a passion for T-Rex and other of these wonderful creatures that no longer are. A great deal of us were also impressed by the vehicles used in the movie, adorned with such exciting decorations and gear some people still try to replicate to this day.

Some of the vehicles featured in the movie were of the 1992 Jeep Wrangler YJ Sahara variety. They were used by the park's staff to move themselves and other people around, and they came in Sand Beige with red accents and special graphics.

Since 1993 Jeep has been constantly featured in the Jurassic movies, but the brand still seems to remember that very first encounter with the imaginary world. That's why this week the carmaker announced the availability of what it calls "an exclusive, limited Jurassic Park Package."

Now don't start thinking about additional gear or equipment, as this package limits itself at giving any Jeep Wrangler and Gladiator vehicles a visual upgrade only, by means of graphics and inserts.

There are actually two graphics packages, one with no transfer case insert and the other with a transfer case insert. Both of them are suitable for the Wrangler, Wrangler 4xe, and Gladiator, and both of them are put together by the Jeep Graphic Studio, the carmaker's side business tasked with delivering special graphics for the off-roaders. The full list of what each of them has to offer can be found below this text.

The first package is priced at $550, while the one that comes with a transfer case insert retails for slightly more, $650. Only 100 of each of them will be made, uniquely numbered, and sold as both a means to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the first Jurassic Park, and as a nod to the 1992 Jeep Wrangler YJ Sahara.
