The new generation Dodge Charger Daytona would leave the chat if it had a soul. After all, it can never engage in a flame-spitting contest, as its electric powertrain won't let it. Plus, the ICE-powered ones won't sound as good as this V8 Ford Mustang, even if it gets the straight-pipe treatment.
Mind you, Dodge can still take a swing at this particular Mustang with its previous-gen Challenger SRT Hellcat series, and if it brings the mighty Demon 170 into the discussion, it is the Blue Oval's muscle car that would leave the chat.

You see, in its top configuration, the latter boasts no less than 1,025 horsepower (1,039 ps/764 kW). Dodge says it takes a neck-snapping sub-2 seconds to reach 60 mph (97 kph) and can deal with the quarter-mile sprint in a whopping eight seconds.

Not even the latest Shelby Super Snake can compare to that, as while it has over 830 horsepower (842 ps/619 kW) on tap from its supercharged 5.0-liter Coyote V8, a 70 hp (71 ps/52 kW) advantage over the S550-based Shelby GT500, it is still almost 200 horsepower (203 ps/149 kW) short of the Demon 170. We won't even mention the base version of this model, which comes with 480 hp (487 ps/358 kW).

Mind you, this story has nothing to do with the latest Ford Mustang Shelby Super Snake or the Dodge Challenger SRT Demon 170. It’s not about the discontinued Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 either, as it revolves around one special copy of the previous-generation Mustang series. This muscle car boasts numerous modifications, and it is capable of starting a barbecue in no time courtesy of its new flame-spitting exhaust system with tips coming out from the middle of the trunk lid.

Yes, you read that right: the exhaust pipes are no longer incorporated into the diffuser. The extensive amount of work that went into it has given this muscle car a more exotic vibe inspired by rear mid-engined supercars. From what we can tell, the owner has played it safe in terms of the body kit, as while this pony car may have a few visual tweaks here and there, it is not kitschy by any means. In fact, if it wasn't for the ad-hoc flame-spitting contest, it would have flown under the radar.

A short clip of this awesome build was shared recently on social media by @mustanggans_ and shows the S550 generation Ford Mustang muscle car in question spitting some big flames through its exhaust tips. It is sad to know that this game will soon be impossible, as the future of this class is electric, but hey, at least we can still enjoy such tricks for a few more years.
