Maker and seller of aerodynamic body kits Topcar is after the McLaren 720S. The Russian shop has just teased us with renderings of what they plan to do to the British supercar by the end of 2019.
Topcar rose to fame with its alligator and snake leather interiors. However, it transitioned into body kits for the Mercedes GLE-Class, which were among the most popular. This year has been all about the Lamborghini Urus and Mercedes-AMG G63, so maybe supercar owners were feeling a little left out.

While the 720S is one of the most striking cars of its kind ever made, the shape has become familiar after several years on the market. Topcar wants to change that with a serious infusion of carbon fiber. Based on their work with the 911 Turbo, we suspect this will come out better than the renderings.

At the front, we're dealing with a new carbon hood, complete with vents, as well as a massive chin spoiler that looks like a hair-trimming accessory.

The sides have been enhanced with large carbon blades that make the McLaren almost as geometric as a Pagani Zonda. Last but not least, we have a massive carbon diffuser and horns over the existing aero wing. Obviously, new wheels were also added to the images, probably from HRE, which is Topcar's go-to supplier. Custom exhaust may also be coming.

We've managed to find some comparison photos that will make the changes described seem more obvious. For now, we leave you with that and an unanswered question: will they add more power as well?

We'll remind you that the 720S currently sits at 720 HP and 568 lb-ft (770 Nm) of torque, able to hit 62 mph (100km) in 2.9 seconds. Price-wise, we've seen Topcar Inferno kits going as high as $50,000 on the G63, though those seem more complex.

He also loves local car culture from all over the world, so don't be surprised to see him getting excited about weird Japanese imports, low-rider VWs out of Germany, replicas from Russia or LS swaps down in Florida.
