Bentley has just introduced the all-new Bentayga Extended Wheelbase Mulliner, which now proudly sits in the flagship position in the luxury carmaker’s lineup.
The model is instantly recognizable. It comes with the diamond grille and chrome mesh lower inserts. Milliner wing vents, two-tone mirrors in Satin Silver and body color and model-exclusive 22-inch wheels in gloss black with self-leveling center caps are on the spectacular equipment list.
For the head-turning effect, customers can tick the Mulliner Blackline Specification box. It brings gloss black treatment to all exterior chrome work and mirror caps, but the Bentley badging is not included in the treatment. The 22-inch gloss black wheels round up the looks of the super special version.
Bentley put the fancy Airline Seats in a 4 or 4+1 seating layout inside a cabin that benefits from the extra space of the extended wheelbase version (a 180-millimeter/7-inch stretch). They feature 22-way power adjustment and automatic climate control, which includes heating and ventilation, activated in turns or simultaneously.
A postural adjustment function, additional lumbar massage pockets, as well as six independent pressure zones, offer 177 different adjustments. Bentley claims that we are dealing with the most advanced automotive seating system in the world, offered as standard. Once the Relax mode is engaged, the seat reclines nearly 40 degrees, and a footrest wrapped in leather deploys from under the front seats.

The Bentayga EWB Mulliner sports a twi-tone split: main, secondary, and accent hide. There are eight different color combos, but the Mulliner Bespoke Interior program allows customers to choose any three of them. Nearly 4,000 tri-tone interior color combinations are available this way. Olive Tan leather is used for the first time in the automotive industry.
The Mulliner lettering shows up in a silver overlay, while Bentley’s B logo is present on the doors, illuminated tread plates, and deep-pile floor mats made from pure wool or recycled nylon. A three-dimensional diamond milled finish covers the center console. There is the Mulliner clock in the dashboard, while the Bentley Diamond Illumination brings tiny, color-adjustable LEDs, 12 mounted on each front door and 22 on each rear door, emitting light through small perforations in the leather.
The Betayga EWB Mulliner is powered by a twin-turbo 4.0-liter V8 engine that delivers 542 horsepower (550 PS) and 568 lb-ft (770 Nm) of torque. These parameters make the car accelerate from 0 to 60 mph (0-97 kph) in 4.5 seconds, on its way to a top speed of 180 mph (290 kph). For that air carpet effect, the model rides on air suspension, while rear wheel steering allows easy maneuvering in tight spaces at low speeds.
The Bentley Bentayga Extended Wheelbase Mulliner is a 254,000-pound affair in the United Kingdom, which translates into $323,443.
