We had our attention set on the Renault Zoe in Geneva, our team of spy photographers came to the rescue, spotting another brand new Renault that’s yet to be revealed. We are of course talking about the Clio, which will soon reach its forth incarnation.
The full-body prototype has some very interesting features to show us, which have never been present on any of the Clio’s predecessors. The front end offers us a grille with the single bar broken up in the middle by the logo. Meanwhile, down the side we have a character line that makes the car look like it’s arching its back between the wheelarches. At the back, the tailgate cuts through the lights, indicating a premium market move for the car.

The Clio will be a bit wider and stronger, but it will only be sold as as a five-door model, or at least that’s what we heard.

While we’d stop short of saying this is the new Clio RS, we don’t know what else Renault would build that needs to have two exhausts.

Some 300,000 people will buy this car next year, so take heed of the shape and the lack of rear door handles.

He also loves local car culture from all over the world, so don't be surprised to see him getting excited about weird Japanese imports, low-rider VWs out of Germany, replicas from Russia or LS swaps down in Florida.
