Last week, we gave you a Mercedes-Benz Van Special, telling you about the future Sprinter, Viano and Citan, with the latter being the company’s upcoming urban delivery van, an all-new vehicle in its range. tNow, we’re back to give you the first spy photos of the Citan prototype wearing the Mercedes face instead of the Renaul one it had back then.
The vehicle will be built on the Renault Kangoo’s platform, but it will come with its own distinct design details and now we can get an idea of what its front bumper, front grille and headlights will look like.

The Citan will be offered in a large number of versions, so customers will be able to choose between multiple lenghts, as well as destinations (passenger van, cargo van, as well as multi-purpose vehicle), while the engine range will include both petrol and diesel units.
