Mercedes will take the S-Class upmarket with the new generation, since the car now also has to replace the defunct Maybach models. Out spy photographers have recently encountered an S-Class prototype that was out for a testing session, with the vehicle showing less camo than before. The vehicle seems to borrow certain styling cues from the F700 Research Vehicle presented back in 2007 and we do get a multitude of rounded shapes.
We’ll remind you that Mercedes expected to release a six-model S-Class range, which should include the standard model, the long wheelbase one, a coupe that will replace the current CL, a cabriolet, as well as two Pullman models that will replace the aforementioned Maybachs.
