The Japanese automaker has been pretty busy all over the world lately. From Australia to Europe and from China to America, there is something for everyone.
In the Land Down Under, Nissan has decided to take on Australia's Lake Mountain road, one of the country's "most challenging - and exhilarating - hill climbs," to celebrate and announce the official start for orders of the 2024 Nissan Z Nismo, which kicks off at around $61k. In China, the company doubled down on its focus across the market with the Epoch and Evo sedans plus Epic and Era SUVs developed in collaboration with Dongfeng and presented at 2024 Auto China in Beijing.

Over in Europe, the Nissan X-Trail is prepared to go rogue as it is now available with the rugged and adventurous N-Trek trim. Meanwhile, there is no good news in America – just the 2024 Nissan Sentra getting recalled for driveshafts that may not be fully seated due to incorrect installation. However, there are some bright spots across the rumor mill and the parallel universes of vehicular CGI. For example, The Crew Motorfest video game has on offer some pretty sweet rides, like the 2002 Nissan Skyline GT-R or the Forsberg Racing Nissan 370Z Pro Drift, among others.

Also, as per the latest findings of our spy photographer partners, it seems that the 2025 model year Nissan Frontier will feature a mild and mannered mid-cycle facelift that subtly touches on various issues but without proposing any major powertrain/drivetrain changes. Instead, there are minor styling revisions, like a new radiator grille and fresh wheel designs, and it seems there could be some changes in store both for the front and rear fascia.

Anyway, when there's smoke from spy photographers, there's also fire from the imaginative realm of digital car content creators – the Halo oto channel on YouTube provides fresh automotive info corroborated with their virtual designs; now, there are new CGI ideas about the upcoming Frontier. However, don't expect their usual exterior-first, interior-second showcase because it seems the resident pixel master was a bit lazy this time and mostly focused on the possible interior changes.

Apparently, the third-generation D41 Nissan Frontier, which finally became a standalone model for North America when it was introduced in early 2021, could feature a more modern cockpit with a potential switch to digital gauges for the instrument cluster and a reworked central information display arrangement that would see the mid-size pickup truck gain reworked AC controls plus a larger size for the standard screen.

Alas, no modifications to the mechanical features are envisioned, so the Nissan F-Alpha-based Frontier, built in Canton, Mississippi (Nissan USA), will most likely soldier on with the big 3.8-liter VQ38DD V6 packing 310 horsepower sent to the wheels through a nine-speed automatic transmission.
