Just recently, we heard that the expert folks over at VF Engineering have decided to hook the Audi R8 to one of their supercharger kits to lend an 830-hp helping hand to its quest for V10 glory for at least $32k. But, as it turns out, you don't need the latest exotic to make your supercar dreams come true.
Sure, it helps if you're in touch with the imaginative realm of the aftermarket world, so even a 2013 Lamborghini Gallardo might do the trick. And there is no need to take our word for granted, as we have a pretty eloquent example. So, the good folks over at performance wheel specialist AL13 Wheels Design + Technik have yet another custom ride to showcase, this time a tuned Gallardo.

It's not just any old Gallardo, though. Instead, we are dealing with one of the very few examples of the 2013 Lamborghini Gallardo LP 570-4 Squadra Corse limited edition. Introduced at the 2013 Frankfurt Motor Show, this variant was only produced in 50 units, of which just 15 went to the United States. Well, the peeps behind the DDE (Daily Driven Exotics) channel on social media have one, and it was recently put through a bonkers tuning and redesign program.

Equipped with a complete race-inspired body kit and dressed in a stunning gold livery made by PFS (Protective Film Solutions – the five-time winner of the XPEL Dealer of the Year award for the US and Canada), the reworked Gallardo flaunts a thoroughly stanced ethos when riding on AL13's aftermarket wheels – dressed in black, of course, for proper contrasting purposes. Even better, according to the aftermarket outlets, "the car sure has the power to match the looks" because the LP 570-4 is now something else entirely after VF Engineering added one of their 200+ hp supercharger systems.

Ultimately, they said, "Nothing on this Gallardo was left untouched." But is that enough for everyone to approve of the potentially magnificent build, or is the gold livery a bit too much? Well, there is no need to feel blue about it, as there are always countless options. Even AL13 had a couple of blue stunners just before the gold Gallardo. For example, those seeking to look outrageous from any distance might choose a Riviera Blue BMW M3 Competition dressed in M Performance parts and riding on classic-looking 20-inch R90 wheels packing gloss brushed centers, gloss polished lips, and three-piece caps. Oh, it doesn't feel exotic enough.

Then maybe the third option is the charm – a McLaren 720S that was converted to McLaren 765LT specification and contrasted its deep blue body hues with lots of forged carbon fiber parts. It, too, rides slammed on AL13s – this time of the duoblock R100 with a Satin Polished Clear finish mixed with a Hex cap. So, which of these three high-performance machines is your AL13 favorite?
