Why does Mansory's name keep popping up in our news feed when the car in question has nothing to do with the controversial tuner? Because the company has almost become synonymous with kitschy rides.
Case in point: meet a one-off Bentley Bentayga EWB, which may appear to belong in Mansory's portfolio. However, it is bone stock, as only Mulliner, the Crewe company's personalization division, has had its way with it at its owners' request, a deep-pocketed couple from Irvine, California.

Everything started with the couple visiting Bentley Newport Beach to order a Bentayga EWB Azure V8 First Edition. However, they were "soon inspired to let their imaginations roam free," the automaker says. The auto marque claims 46 billion different configurations are available for this model, and the couple decided to go for what you can see in the image gallery above.

The car's base color is called Kingfisher Blue and was complemented by the Onyx upper body, Blackline specification, deletion of the Bentley lettering at the rear, 22-inch wheels finished in Kingfisher and Beluga with self-leveling logos, and rear privacy windows.

Due to the special exterior look (we said special, not eye-catching), this Bentayga is a bespoke creation. However, it may soon be joined by other Bentaygas rocking a similar or identical specification, as the two-tone look is now a factory option at the automaker, which was forced to bring it forward by a year.

Did you think the couple was going to stop at the brash exterior and not give the cockpit a similar vibe? Obviously not, and once you open the door, you will see the Mandarin and Imperial Blue leather, joined by the Open Pore Koa Veneer on various components. This model has a four-seat layout and comes with the usual ambient lighting, premium sound system, and a few other things.

It also gets a Mulliner key box that mixes the Imperial Blue hide and Mandarin with Imperial Blue Alcantara on the inside, which the vehicle's owners can use to keep their valuables secured. The final touch is a bespoke message to the customer visible on the treadplates, which read "One of One for the Peck's by Bentley Mulliner."

We couldn't tell you how much this commission cost, but it is clear that the couple paid way over the MSRP of the Bentley Bentayga EWB, which is nearly $230,000 in the United States. This model rocks a 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 that develops 542 hp (550 ps/405 kW) and 568 pound-foot (770 Nm) of torque. It is an all-wheel drive proposal with an eight-speed 'box that can keep pushing up to 180 mph (290 kph) and does the 0 to 60 miles per hour (0-97 kph) in just 4.5 seconds.
