You'd have a hard time thinking of a Nissan GT-R widebody kit coming from a producer that's more popular than Liberty Walk. The Japanese label has established itself as a top name in the WB world, covering supercars like it's nothing. Well, there's a new Nissan GT-R Liberty Walk kit in the making!
The aero package has been fully introduced thanks to a set of renderings. As for the actual build, a demo car is being put together as you are reading this. You'll find the latest update on the matter in the first Instagram post below.
The post comes from Wataru Kato, the gearhead behind the company, delivering a crucial piece of info: the kit is scheduled to be released at the Tokyo Auto Salon 2020, which is set to open its gates on January 10.
The wait for the unveiling is entirely justified. After all, the Japanese developer had introduced a similar development last month at SEMA, when it came out with a new WB approach for the Lamborghini Huracan.
As was the case with the Raging Bull aerodynamic package, the one destined for Godzilla is quite a departure from the earlier version(s). Gone are the riveted-on fenders, with these being approach by a more balanced approach.
With or without that massive rear wing, the whole package gifts the Japanese machine with the look of a racecar. And, at least from where I'm standing, its side view resembles an arrow. Of course, the devil is in the details with such kits, which is why you should zoom in on the various bits and pieces in the #2 and #3 Instagram post below.
Much to nobody's surprise, the Liberty Walk Nissan GT-R widebody kit comes with a serious financial side. So, depending on the material it is made of: you can go from Fiber Reinforced Polymer to Dry Carbon, with the price ranging from $34,020 to $73,570. And yes, you can buy a decent R35 Nissan GT-R for the latter figure.
