When you think about it, a 2024 Lexus LC 500 could not be more opposed to the notion of an American muscle car than it already is. After all, the Japanese automaker explains its name through the idea of a "Luxury Coupe," which is their personification of a grand tourer. In turn, something like a Challenger, Camaro, or Mustang is big, brawny, unwieldy on a winding course, and (much) cheaper.
It's like trying to compare an instrument of blunt force against an artist's work of the subtlest art. But that does not mean people will not attempt such amazing feats, even if they do not always get exactly what they wanted. Anyway, unlike the all-new 2024 GX off-roader or the first-ever 2024 TX family-oriented three-row crossover, Lexus was not exactly in a giving mood when its engineers and stylists upgraded the 2024 model year LC with the company's touchscreen infotainment system and not much else.

As such, the 2024 Lexus LC 500 and 500h models in both coupe and convertible from now on have a 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system with OTA (over-the-air) capability, Cloud Navigation, Intelligent Assistant, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, plus the usual stuff of 4G internet and a Wi-Fi hotspot. Nothing out of the ordinary, right? Well, that is only in the real world, as it turns out.

Meanwhile, across the imaginative realm of digital car content creators, Evrim Ozgun, a Turkish virtual automotive designer, has decided to get down to the CGI business of creating his vision of the 2024 Lexus LC 500 'muscle car.' Now, after you wrap up with the LOLs, it's true that the pixel master was a little off in his characterization, and this independent project might qualify a little better in the field of JDM-style tuning. But has anyone noticed that, as of late, the boundaries have gone blurry, and slammed widebody muscle cars are just about everywhere?

Anyway, irrespective of the interpretation, these two versions of the LC 500 – with or without a crazy rear wing assembly, are still something well worth writing home about, especially if you like exotic combinations. As such, the careful grand tourer lines of the OEM LC 500 are mercilessly transformed into something that would not look out of place either at the local quarter-mile dragstrip, the regional tuning car show, or the latest national track festivities.

And, most likely, it is all thanks to the reworked front and rear, the all-black aerodynamic additions (front spoiler chin, trippy side skirts, and the nice four round pipes at the rear with an integrated diffuser), as well as the extreme widebody treatment. Not to mention the thoroughly stanced atmosphere, plus the black or orange-spoked concave aftermarket wheels. Last but not least, the atmosphere is made whole through the nostrils in the engine hood, for sure!
