Porsches with Audi engines, Audis with Porsche engines, Bentleys with Porsche platforms. I bet that some people will say the Urus is a re-bodied Volkswagen, even though it's inaccurate.
Anyway, rather than feel embarrassed by this predicament, the Lambo people should just embrace it and make their version of the Porsche Panamera.

No fussing over adding a hybrid powertrain or developing some sort of mid-engined four-seater. Just put the styling and the all the buttons from the Urus into the Panamera platform and charge money for it.

Sure, it would dilute the brand, but the automotive industry is so much more competitive these days. You can't make a V12 engine and sell it for 20 years like in the golden age. Selling the wrong kind of leather or an outdated infotainment is just as bad for a supercar as it is Golf.

Wondering what the Lamborghini equivalent of the Porsche Panamera would look like? Well, wonder no more, as Kleber Silva has made that rendering happen. He based it on the Sport Turismo version no less, which everybody seems to agree is the sexiest body style.

Obviously, nobody would put something like this into production; this is just for the giggles. The front end of the Urus is designed to be upright and muscular, so it makes the Panamera body look strained. The headlights would need to be placed a little lower. But geometric lines actually do work with the four-door shooting brake body.

We full confidence that a project like this would work. The Urus will shit to the U.S. from around $200,000. There's plenty of other cars costing as much that don't come with the coveted Raging Bull badge. A Lamborghini shooting brake based on the Panamera would undoubtedly find as many fans as something like a McLaren 570S (starts at $191,100).
