The United States of America is Lamborghini's number one market. So, the Italian marque is trying to expand its presence there. A new showroom opened its gates in Seattle, and the Revuelto was the star of the grand opening show.
The brand's first plug-in hybrid, which the Italians proudly call HPEV (High Performance Electrified Vehicle), the Revuelto, has set wheels on American soil in a ribbon-cutting ceremony, attended by the Automobile Lamborghini America Chief Executive Officer Andrea Baldi. He explained that there is a reason why Lamborghini chose Seattle for the new state-of-the-art showroom. It is one of the top wealthiest cities in the United States, which makes it perfect for the Italian carmaker to sell its products there.

The new showroom opens its gates to customers who want to order a new car, customize it, or bring something new to the one that they already have. The showroom floor has already been occupied by the new V12 plug-in hybrid Revuelto, the all-terrain Huracan Sterrato, and the V10-powered Huracan Tecnica. Also present in the showroom are two new Urus Super SUV models: the Urus Performante and the Urus S.

Lamborghini went through a record-setting first half of the year, with the US, the company's largest market, leading the way in the sales race. 1,625 cars were delivered in the United States in the first six months of 2023, which represents a 7 percent increase compared to the same period of 2022.

The Urus stands as the bestselling model of Lamborghini's lineup this year as well, with the Huracan coming in next. The Italians recorded an increase of 62 percent in the sales of the Huracan with the arrival of the Huracan Tecnica and Huracan STO. The record-breaking figures come at the right time.

Lamborghini is going into the second phase of the Direzione Cor Tauri, which translates into The Direction of the Bull's Heart. It is an investment program in which Lamborghini is investing 1.9 billion euros ($2 billion), the largest in the company's history, to transfer the brand into the electric era.

The brand from Sant'Agata Bolognese, Italy, has already started out on the electrification way with the Revuelto, which made its global debut in March 2023. The HPEV is powered by the all-new 6.5-liter V12 engine, which works alongside three electric motors for a total system output of 1,001 horsepower (1,015 PS) and 783 lb-ft (1,062 Nm) of torque, transferred to both axles via an eight-speed dual-clutch transmission.

The Revuelto does the 0-62 mph (0-100 kph) run in 2.5 seconds and hits a top speed of 217 mph (349 kph). For those who want to drive it home, the model arrives in the US with an MSRP of $604,363.

Guests at the grand opening had the chance to see classic and contemporary Lamborghinis with their own eyes. A 2022 Countach LPI 800-4 was in the exclusive company of a 1988 Countach.

The new showroom covers 2,707 square-feet of retail space and offers a 360-degree client experience. There is also an Ad Personal customization room, where the brand's bespoke offerings are on display. Customers can touch the materials and play with color combinations to make sure that they are making the best choice. Meanwhile, Collezione and Accessori Originali allows them to take home fashion items that match their new cars and lifestyle.
