While the massive GTA VI leaks from last year have been erased from YouTube via copyright strikes from Rockstar, some videos still linger here and there. So it should be no surprise that people still extract information from the videos. One such YouTuber pieced together a few gameplay details they thought were most enthralling. So let's see how GTA 6 improves and impresses compared to previous iterations.
While the following features from the game are supposedly extracted from the leaked videos, it would be wise to keep one eyebrow raised. Plenty of factors could contribute to misinterpretations, like human error or Rockstar changing their minds about certain aspects and simply deciding to forgo them entirely.

First on our list is tied to the gyms from Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas. According to the "RedBandit" YouTube channel, in GTA 6, we will be able to build muscle, just like we did with CJ. This would be a welcomed feature by fans, seeing that it was immensely popular for its time. Why Rockstar didn't want to make it part of GTA IV or V is anyone's guess.

Next, we have the rumored randomly generated events you surely heard about if you kept your ear to the ground in the past few years. Supposedly, parts of the map will change in some aspects, and randomly generated missions will come up from time to time.

I wouldn't expect a massive generational leap, so I'd temper my expectations until Rockstar comes out and blows us away with some unheard-of in-house A.I.-like software technology they've been developing in secret. More often than not, these sorts of things have an explosive first presentation but then fizzle out when you actually see them in action inside the game.

Another one that sounds quite far-fetched is the ability to pick up "every item in the world." The first thing that would make this quite impossible is the current hardware technical limitation.

The idea sounds phenomenal in and of itself. Still, the level of software physics required to pick up every literal item in the world would require enormous computing power, unlike the PS5 and Xbox Series X have at their disposal.

However, if we were to entertain this feature based on the old "where there's smoke, there's fire" premise, we could see various interactivity regarding day-to-day physics-based items. Think of shelves inside a supermarket filled with food cans and bags of chips that we could destroy and watch fall to the ground or pick them up.

Finally, we're getting to some real stuff regarding the 5-0. Police AI has been tuned, so they will take cover and transition between walls or cars to gain a strategic advantage against you. I've seen this happen, so there is no doubt this behavior will make it in the final version.

More than that, there will be police radars that you can equip on your car to avoid police routes. If this is true, I can see police icons on your minimap indicating their position and the traps they're setting up for you.

Another gameplay feature will supposedly be bandages and health kits like in Max Payne to help you heal or boost certain functions like stamina. Red Dead Redemption 2 feature cooking and eating steaks, so it wouldn't be out of the question that a similar but more "civilized" healing mechanic will make its way into GTA 6.

Clothing or cloth animations will be lifelike and react like they're made out of fabric, not just a one-piece vest that looks like it's molded from latex or rubber, like in every FIFA game. Also, if your character is in a hot climate area and sweats, it will show through the clothes. Clothes will also rip and tear, making for a fascinating mechanic if true.

Speaking about grand theft auto per se, breaking into cars or boosting them will include using a vehicle immobilizer or a slim Jim tool. We may even see hacking into electric cars, as they haven't been present on a massive scale in GTA games before.

Another exciting feature is how NPCs (non-playable characters) react based on Jason and Lucia's appearance and activity. If you're dirty, wearing a sky mask on your face while carrying a weapon, it will trigger different reactions from the crowd than if you were strutting along in a sharp suit.

Simulated water physics is also a hot topic regarding GTA VI, especially because now they involve surfing as a new activity. I haven't seen anything that would indicate this, but multiple insiders have talked about this for quite a while now.

As far as the map is concerned, the entire sandbox will be twice as big as the world from GTA V. We already know it's taking place in Vice City, but recent leaks involve Cuba or a fictional version as part of the main story. This is neither great nor bad news because map size doesn't matter.

It's what you fill it with that counts. No one wants to explore a vast nothingness with nothing to do. Considering that we're talking about Rockstar, I'm sure the latter won't happen. So look forward to visiting mansions, aquariums, police stations, theme parks, food joints, malls, military bases, and more.

Now here comes a good one. CCTV cameras will work as they do in real life, and if you commit crimes while on camera, police will start putting out wanted posters and search for you around your "last known location, 10-4." So wear a good disguise and a mask.

Lastly, GTA 6 could feature a tribute to Tommy Vercetti, played by the late Ray Liotta. The word on the street is that the actor was spotted leaving Rockstar offices a few years back, so maybe he's even featured as a character. It could be wishful thinking, but just imagine how this could impact players.

As I initially said, take everything with a grain of salt. Until Rockstar steps forth into the light and officially confirms that Grand Theft Auto 6 will feature this and that, it's all interpretation, hearsay, and speculation.
