The Ford Ranger Raptor is capable of hauling and pulling, it can drive you to the opera on a Friday evening or take you off-roading on a Saturday morning. This time, we go with the off-roading part. Ranger Raptor Assault School teaches owners how to use their vehicles once they leave the tarmac behind.
Ranger Raptor Assault School is a new experience specifically designed for the owners of Ford Ranger Raptors. The program kicks off at the Ford Performance Racing School in Tooele Valley, Utah, starting in June.

Anyone who owns a Ranger Raptor can attend the off-road course that lasts for a day and takes them into Utah's high desert terrain. Those who are interested in the experience must register on the dedicated website. The cost of the program is included in the purchase of the Ranger Raptor. So owners do not have to pay anything to attend. But they will have to get their own accommodation in the area.

During the instruction day, they will learn how to unlock the full potential of their sports pickup trucks with the help of off-road driving professionals. The route covers challenging terrains and maneuvers that will show them what the vehicle can do and build up their knowledge.

The training will help them be confident in their off-road skills the next time they decide to leave the road behind. Rock crawling and Baja runs, climbing, side hilling, and depending are part of the plan.

Will Ford, Ford Performance General Manager, explains that the owners, whether they are just off-road debutants or veterans, they will be able to experience the full capability of the Ranger Raptor and understand what engineers have put into their pickup trucks.

Will Ford's name is not a coincidence. His full name is actually William Clay Ford III. He is a fifth-generation member of the company's founding family. So, he might know a thing or two about what these vehicles can do.

For starters, the pickup truck is powered by a 3.0-liter V6, which generates 288 horsepower (292 metric horsepower) and 362 pound-feet (491 Newton meters) of torque, all managed and sent to all four corners by a ten-speed auto box.

Ford Performance will make sure that everyone is safe during the event and provide them with safety gear during the off-road lessons. The participants will also attend classroom instruction provided by the experts from Ford Performance Driving School.

The new, exclusive Ranger Raptor Assault School builds on the success of the F-150 Raptor Assault School. Ford also offers special training to the owners of the Mustang Dark Horse with the Track Attack Experience. Meanwhile, the Bronco owners get their fair share of fun in the Bronco Off-Roadeo events, which is the newest experience offered to customers.
