Bewitched by the promise of unforgettable outdoor adventures and an unparalleled feeling of liberation, more and more folks are drawn to van life. When they decide to head off to far-flung places, most of them prefer a camping rig that looks rugged and capable on the outside but is cozy and inviting on the inside. The new 2024 Randger 560 is a well-equipped camper van that offers just that and more.
Designed for people who like to get everywhere and explore the outdoors without limitations, the Randger R560 4X4 AWD is a luxury campervan able to tackle challenging terrain, weather, and daily use that is also fully packed with practical and useful equipment for everyday life on the road.

Randger is a relatively young company from France founded by a team of outdoor enthusiasts in 2017. The brand is part of the Trigano Group and designs and manufactures camper vans and larger van conversions at its base in Dordogne, France. Their wide selection of campers embodies a new way of experiencing van life, as they are built to combine comfort and practicality, guarantee the highest quality and durability, and offer you the freedom to travel wherever you want.

The Randger R560 camper van is based on a Ford Transit 4x4 AWD chassis with a 2.0-liter, 170 hp Euro 6 Adblue engine, six-speed manual gearbox, high ground clearance, and all-season tires that will allow you to head surprisingly far off the beaten track. The rather unassuming exterior is finished in a nice grey color, and the only elements that might give away the fact that it hides a full-fledged mobile living space inside are the Thule awning, the solar panels on the roof, and the bike rack and ladder at the rear of the van. Outdoor equipment also includes an extra-wide electric step, a bullbar bumper, double-glazed flush-fitting windows, and a cold water outdoor shower.

The spacious and functional interior, meanwhile, boasts a classic yet practical layout with a front seating/dining area for four, a decently equipped central kitchen, a smart bathroom with a shower cubicle, and a comfortable rear sleeping space. The streamlined design allows owners to switch from drive to dine/lounge to sleep mode in the blink of an eye, contributing to an easier and more comfortable life on the road.

A neutral color palette of grays and beiges, coupled with high-quality materials and thick, durable furniture pieces, ensures an inviting atmosphere. The comfortable airplane seats in the cabin, both of which are installed on swiveling mounts, pamper you from the very entrance. When reversed, these chairs combine with the rear double bench to create a nice seating/dining area with a smart three-leaf table in the middle. Besides extending to offer a larger table surface when needed, this table can also be removed and attached to the outside of the van, right off the entrance, for an outdoor dining setup, making it unnecessary to carry an additional free-standing table.

The bathroom, located behind the passenger bench and concealed by a discreet pocket door, is one of the highlights of this van conversion. Dubbed the TB Concept, this is a modular 3-in-1 bathroom that can be used as either a functional washroom or a spacious shower cubicle. The space-efficient design includes a swivel toilet and a fold-away sink on one side and a shower cabin on the other. Instead of a regular curtain, a rigid, folded bulkhead wall separates the two areas. All these components are ideal for use in confined spaces, providing convenience without compromising functionality.

The kitchen is compact but well kitted out for cooking meals on the go. It includes spacious storage compartments for pots, pans, and other kitchen essentials, and it is equipped with a stainless steel sink, a two-burner cooktop, and a Dometic compressor refrigerator with two temperature zones and a capacity of 70 liters. The cool thing about the fridge is that you can open it from both directions, which allows you to easily reach things inside, regardless of whether you are outside or inside the van.

The sleeping quarters are located at the rear of the van, where you will find a large bed on a slatted base, measuring 188 x 137 cm (6.16 x 4.5 feet). Upper cabinets on both sides offer storage for clothes and the like, while additional cupboards and shelves for storage are available under the bed. Moreover, the bed tilts up and folds for easy access and to free up room for even more luggage space.

For additional sleeping space, the company offers a bedkit that will help you create another bed in the living zone up front.

Another great perk that many outdoor enthusiasts appreciate is the fact that the back doors open up and allow them to enjoy the day in the open air.

A 100-liter fresh water tank, a 60-liter waste water tank, two 6-kg propane holders, and a Truma Combi D diesel central heating/water heater, plus a solar panel on the roof, ensure you can experience off-grid camping for several days without problems.

Cost-wise, the 2024 Ford Randger R560 camper van conversion starts at 70,000 Euro / 75,800 USD.
