Acura is prepared to attack the block with even more trendy options after it performed splendidly across the US automotive market, with sales up 42% last year compared to 2022.
The first of them, of course, will be the first-ever Acura ZDX – an all-electric crossover SUV that will come to market starting from $64,500 in regular and ZDX Type S high-performance form. But that's just the tip of the iceberg for Honda's premium division. Additionally, after that, Acura will also improve its best-selling MDX sport utility vehicle with "significant enhancements."

These include a new design, Bang and Olufsen premium audio, a new Google-built-in tech interface, more AcuraWatch features, and a touchscreen interface instead of a touchpad. Additionally, the RDX will not be forgotten, too, as it prepares to receive "upgrades to enhance its appeal and functionality." With the Integra being the latest model in the family, you would think that Acura stops here with the novelties for 2024.

Well, guess again, as the company is finally making good on the rumor mill's promises from years ago that it will bring a new entry-level premium compact crossover SUV to market. Indeed, Acura has now confirmed that an all-new CUV will premiere later this year, "positioned at the gateway of the lineup alongside the Integra."

Naturally, everyone and their mother now believes that Acura is talking about the patented CDX crossover SUV, which the authorities have archived since early 2018! Acura is welcoming this smaller SUV positioned below the RDX and MDX to welcome its new buyers to the marque alongside the revived Integra – and it was only a matter of time before the imaginative realm of digital car content creators took an interest in it.

For example, the Halo oto channel on YouTube provides fresh automotive info corroborated with their virtual designs; now, there are some new CGI ideas about this fresh Acura CUV – and the resident pixel master is obviously playing it safe in terms of design. In fact, it will be hard to distinguish this from the MDX and RDX unless you see them side-by-side to notice the size differences. Additionally, it's interesting to note how the CGI expert combines the Integra styling with the CUV proportions.

Do take this with a healthy dose of salt, as this is merely an unofficial design project, but at least on this occasion, we expect the parallel universes of vehicular CGI to be attuned to the rumor mill's vision of what's coming. Additionally, it's also not that hard to guess what's going to be under the hood – the reborn Integra will happily donate its 1.5-liter VTEC turbo mill with 200 hp, and maybe even the 2.0-liter if Acura decides also to make a CDX Type S with 320 hp.
