The 2024 Dodge Charger Daytona will soon arrive at dealerships across America, a month and a half after the automaker officially unveiled the electric muscle car. The all-new two-door muscle car has already sent dealers updated order guides, which detail the First Edition versions.
Dodge has reinvented the Charger, dismissing the HEMI V8 and offering electric power instead. To get back the HEMI die-hards who had turned away when they heard there wouldn't be any ICE involved, Dodge also offered the 3.0-liter V6 Hurricane engine as a consolation.

There will be no fewer than five First Edition versions that customers will be able to choose from. There will be two Daytona R/Ts and three Daytona Scat Packs.

The Daytona R/T Configuration 1 will receive Direct Connection eState 1 Upgrade, which brings an extra 40 horsepower, taking the output to a total of 496 horsepower for a run from 0 to 60 mph in 4.7 seconds.

This variant will sport leather Performance Seats, which will be ventilated at the front and heated at the back. A 16-inch instrument cluster, ambient lighting, an Alpine Pro Premium Sound System with 18 speakers, and a subwoofer will also be on board.

The Charger Daytona with the R/T Configuration 1 will ride on 20-inch aluminum wheels with tires measuring 255/45R20 and will sport Dark R/T Fender Badges, illuminated door handles, and premium LED headlamps with Cross Car LED DRL signature light.

The Dodge Daytona R/T Configuration 2 comes with the same amount of power and all the features of the Configuration 1. However, customers will get the Demonic Red Seats with perforated inserts with red and silver stitching.

The Charger Daytona Scat Pack Configuration 1 comes with 670 horsepower

Upper in the range, we will find the Charger Daytona Scat Pack Configuration 1. This one benefits from the presence of the Direct Connection eStage 2 Upgrade, which brings along 80 horsepower, all the way to 670 horsepower. This variant will be capable of flashing from 0 to 60 mph in just 3.3 seconds.

Customers will get the Track Pack, which includes red Brembo six-piston fixed front rotors and mixed tires, measuring 305/35/R20 at the front and 325/35R/20 at the rear. High-back leather/suede Performance Seats are in the cabin as well as the Drive Experience Recorder (DXR) with Forward Camera and USB Data Output.

Meanwhile, the Plus Group brings ventilated front seats, heated second-row seats, interior ambient lighting, a heads-up display, the illuminated door handles, and the Premium LED headlamps.

This variant will also be equipped with the fixed and tinted full glass roof and the Alpine Pro sound system.

Customers will also be able to check the box for the Carbon and Suede Package, which includes dark 20-inch aluminum wheels, carbon fiber mirror caps, Dark Bee fender badge, a carbon fiber center console and a carbon fiber door inlay, while the headliner and the A-pillars will be wrapped in suede.

The Dodge Charger Daytona Scat Pack Configuration 2 comes with the same output as Configuration 1 and a Track Pack that brings along the red Brembo six-piston fixed front rotors, the high-back leather/suede Performance Seats, and the Drive Experience Recorder.

Customers will also be able to choose the Plus Group with ventilated front seats, heated seats in the second row, interior ambient lighting, head-up display, illuminated door handles, and Premium LED headlamps.

Meanwhile, the Dodge Charger Daytona Scat Pack Configuration 3 also sports 670 horsepower and gets the fixed and tinted full glass roof and the Alpine Pro sound system with a subwoofer and 18 speakers.

The First Edition examples can be ordered in black, white, and silver

Three exterior colors will be available for these three configurations: the Diamond Black, Triple Nickel, and White Knuckle.

The order guides that Mopar Insiders got their hands on show that dealers will be assigned First Edition allocations the week of April 22 and they will have until the end of the month to accept their First Edition models.

Those who are interested in purchasing the electric muscle car will also have the chance to try out a new configurable web experience that the automaker will launch soon. In order to find a First Edition, potential buyers will have to use Dodge's Horsepower Locator tool on DodgeGarge.com.

The all-new Charger lineup will also include two ICEs, one with 420 and another one with 550 horsepower.

Sitting on the brand-new STLA platform, all Chargers, regardless of the powertrain, will have standard all-wheel drive. The EVs will be equipped with the 100.5-kWh battery pack with prismatic cells.

The pack stores enough energy for a drive of up to 317 miles (510 kilometers) in the Dodge Daytona R/T and 260 miles (418 kilometers) in the Scat Pack variants.

There is no information on pricing just yet. We will probably find out more toward the end of the month.
