Can you believe it's been almost two years since we were introduced to the Ford Bronco Raptor? The sporty 4x4 debuted at the beginning of 2022, boasting improved off-roading credentials compared to the regular versions, as well as more power.
The engine of choice is a 3.0-liter EcoBoost V6. Working in concert with a ten-speed automatic transmission and four-wheel drive, the unit has 418 hp (424 ps/312 kW) and 440 lb-ft (597 Nm) of torque

It can handle both the asphalt and sand dunes just as well, and you won't mistake it for the run-of-the-mill Broncos. It is significantly wider and comes with a plethora of accessories. The Blue Oval's engineers reworked the chassis, too, and the suspension setup is familiar to that of the F-150 Raptor.

Skid plates protect the underbody from one end to the other, and it has 50% more torsional rigidity. Even the four-wheel drive system was improved by Ford, and the transfer case was beefed up. The breakover, approach, and departure angles are also superior, as is the wading depth.

The Bronco Raptor has a higher ground clearance, too, and since it needs the extra traction, it also features dedicated tires wrapped around the wheels, which are fatter than the ones equipping the lesser models. And as everyone knows, there are literally countless wheel and tire options available for it from the aftermarket world.

One company that would gladly take your money in exchange for a set of new wheels is Vossen, and they signed the HF6-5 set equipping the tuned Ford Bronco Raptor. These alloys are available in 20-, 22-, or 24-inch diameters, with respective widths measuring from 9.5 to 12 inches, and can be finished in different hues.

Made specifically for trucks and SUVs, the six-lug wheels equip other high riders, from the Lexus GX and Ram 1500 TRX to the Cadillac Escalade and Toyota Tundra, including a six-wheel drive take on the latter. If you scroll through the wheelmaker's website, you will see a plethora of other vehicles that rock this set.

If the new alloys, wrapped in chunky rubber, won't get your attention when it comes to the pictured Ford Bronco Raptor, then the exterior look of the potent 4x4 will. It has a custom wrap with a camo pattern that mixes different colors, including green, blue, red, and orange, separated by white.

We think the camouflage is a bit too much for this vehicle, which would've probably looked better with a dark satin hue or, why not, a raptor paint to protect those body panels from scratches. But you don't have to agree with us on that. After all, the owner certainly wouldn't. So, if you had a Bronco Raptor, what would you change on it?
