Why would anybody drag race a Dodge Challenger Hellcat against a Ferrari 458? Well, if you ask the people who enjoy hooning these cars, you'll get a swift why not? answer.
Now, before anybody worries about the Hellcat's 275-section rear tires not allowing it to properly face the Ferrari 458 Italia during the launch phase of the race, allow us to mention this is the Widebody incarnation of the Dodge, so we're talking about 305-section rubber - the battle involved a standing start, so traction was a precious asset.
