Land Rover's second generation Range Rover Evoque has been in the second generation since 2018, and with it desperately needing some attention to remain on the competitive side of the segment, it received a mid-cycle refresh last summer.
Those unfamiliar with the design likely cannot tell the difference between the old and new ones, but the British automaker has given the facelifted iteration new LED headlights and a fresh grille. On top of that, it sports a 14.4-inch curved display on the inside, which houses all controls, from the HVAC and audio systems to the seats and smartphone connectivity.

Depending on the market, the 2024 Range Rover Evoque comes with a series of different powertrains, including a three-banger with an electric motor and a 14.9 kWh battery on the P300e. This variant has a total of 305 horsepower (309 ps/228 kW), takes 6.4 seconds from 0-62 mph (0 to 100 kph), and can travel on zero emissions for up to 30 miles (48 km). Drivers can also choose between various modes depending on the outside environment.

In the United States, the model is offered in the S and Dynamic SE trim levels. Both feature the same P250 gasoline engine, a 2.0L four-pot kicking out 246 hp (250 ps/184 kW) and 269 pound-feet (365 Nm) of torque. Hooked up to a nine-speed transmission, the motor enables the 0-60 mph (0-97 kph) in seven seconds and allows the car to hit a top speed of 143 mph (230 kph). Pricing for the S starts at $49,900 and for the Dynamic SE at $54,900, excluding destination.

What does the future hold for the Range Rover Evoque? Considering that the second generation only recently received its mid-cycle refresh, it is a bit too early to talk about that. Nevertheless, that does not mean the rendering world hasn't attempted to imagine its styling using a huge dose of 'trust us, bro.' That was the recipe behind these digital illustrations shared after New Year's Eve by TheAutoReport on YouTube, which can be seen in the image gallery above.

The CGI model in question shares little with the real thing and sports some exaggerated proportions with beefed-up fenders and new lines all around. The lighting units at both ends appear to be an evolution of the ones equipping the real crossover, and to make it look a bit more futuristic, it has also received new DRLS incorporated into the side vents of the new front bumper.

Overall, we're fans of the design and think it certainly suits the moniker, yet as we already told you, it is wishful thinking, and only a select few within Jaguar Land Rover know what the future has in store for the Range Rover Evoque.
