Kia's Telluride stepped into the 2024 model year six months ago, featuring some modest visual updates. But it is understandable, considering that the Korean automaker gave it a facelift in 2022.
As part of the mid-cycle refresh, it gained new vertical headlamps, refreshed taillights, new bumpers and grille, and a few other bits and bobs. The color palette was expanded with Jungle Wood Green, Dawning Red, and Midnight Lake Blue, and the optional dual display was added inside.

From here on, it is the usual gear that varies depending on the chosen grade. The 2024 model comes in the LX, S, EX, EX X-Line, SX, SX X-Line and SX X-Pro configurations. The most affordable versions have to make do with front-wheel drive, whereas the all-wheel drive system is reserved for the upper models. Pricing varies between $35,990 and $53,185, excluding destination, representing a $100-$200 increase over the previous model year.

The mid-cycle update has granted it a few more years on the market, and while it looks better than the pre-facelifted iteration. Some might argue that the Korean company's design team could have done better, yet sadly, they don't work at Kia. Digimods Design on YouTube could easily land a job there, as one of his latest projects involved rearranging the pixels of the 2024 Telluride to bring it into the 2025 model year with a few design tweaks that make the vehicle more appealing.

Compared to the real thing, it has a pair of new headlamps that are taller and narrower. These seem to have been inspired by the Cadillac Escalade. The grille's pattern was slightly modified, and the front bumper has a cleaner look and a reshaped lower section with a new intake in the middle.

Out back, the pixel manipulator went the extra mile by redesigning the tailgate. The corporate logo and Telluride emblem no longer decorate it, and the license plate holder was moved to the rear bumper, which looks better than ever with its diffuser-like piece attached to the lower section, new tailpipe trim, and repositioned reflectors. The taillights are part of the digital revision, and so is the spoiler at the top end of the rear windscreen.

These renderings also imagine the Kia Telluride with new plastic cladding and reshaped lower part of the doors and side skirts. The model has a brown paint finish, fresh trim on the front fenders, and retains the original wheels.

This is obviously an overenthusiastic take on the Telluride, as Kia likely won't give a second facelift, and we think it looks better in this alternative design. But which one do you prefer? Is it this one or the actual car? Head to the comments section below and let us know.
