Having recently dedicated its attention to the smaller ASX (Outlander Sport in America), Mitsubishi has introduced the 2024 Outlander in Australia.
The mid-size crossover continues to be offered with seating for up to seven people, available all-wheel drive system, and a plug-in hybrid powertrain option and brings additional goodies for the new model year.
All versions of the 2024 Mitsubishi Outlander are equipped with dusk-sensing headlamps and LED rear fog lights for improved visibility. A new rear-seat alert function is on deck, and the Graphite Gray metallic exterior paint finish replaces the Titanium metallic.
Joining the lineup is the Black Edition, which is now available as a standalone model. It comes with the same amenities as the previous variant, which built on the LS, featuring a seven-seat configuration and front-wheel drive. This model is defined by the black exterior trim, 20-inch alloys, black headliner and pillars, laser-etched gearshift panel, and Mi-Suede upholstery mixed with synthetic leather.
Depending on the trim, the 2024 Mitsubishi Outlander can be equipped with black fabric upholstery, the aforementioned Mi-suede with black faux leather, light gray leather, and black and saddle tan premium leather. Customers can also specify it with the Protection Pack and Style Set at an extra cost, which are part of the brand's Genuine Accessories.
The safety system list is generous and includes stuff such as the blind spot warning, emergency brake assist, emergency stop signal, forward collision mitigation, active stability control, active traction control, brake override, hill descent control, hill start assist, trailer stability assist, lane change assist, speed limiter, and others. The Mi-Pilot semi-autonomous driving feature is still offered on the Exceed and Exceed Tourer.
